Saint Joe’s is 20 years removed from Jameer Nelson leading the way and this being a great basketball team. Billy Lange has struggled for a few years as head coach but now has a roster of veteran players. Taylor Funk, Jordan Hall, Dahmer Bishop, and Cameron Brown returned as top minutes leaders last year. The Hawks have added Vanderbilt transfer Ejike Obinna to grab rebounds and redirect shots. Half of the Quakers players have not played D1 basketball until this year, and this team’s offense has yet to get going. Some IVY league schools will struggle from sitting out last year due to Covid 19. These are games the Hawks have to win at home to prove they are turning the page. Take St. Joseph’s.Comment

OK, I feel this is the fairest way to handle this. I am going to honor the free service for all buyers on Tuesday. I did release the Nets at -4 at 11:30 am est. The line moved to -2.5 around 12:30 pm est and never went up to 3 the rest of the day before actually closing at -1.5
Obviously they won by 3 (2 missed free throws with 20 seconds left was definitely frustrating but they did come back from 17 down)
I think it is fair to say that anyone who bought basically after 12:30 pm est won. For those who bought before, you lost. I am not claiming a win or a loss on the game as I wrote on my home page.
No matter what time you bought or what your result was, I am honoring the free service. We always try to make it as fair as we can at this site and again, I feel this is fair to all involved.
