The Grey Cup is here and we end the year of another successful season and hopefully one last winner on Winnipeg here. Now let’s get to the reason why we are taking the Blue Bombers. To us it is obvious with what has happened during the yr and recently. Winnipeg played TERRIBLE last week and still beat Saskatchewan by 4. They turned the ball over 6 times and still won. This line has been bet down from opening at 4 in some spots and at 3 in Vegas so not sure if this will be a contrarian play or not but we like thinking that it might be. Hamilton is hosting and that does not mean that they will have a big advantage, because what we believe they have is BIG PRESSURE. They lost this game two years ago and it was not even close. This Winnipeg club has been head over heels ahead of the competition this year, basically losing only one game. (that Montreal and Calgary games at end of the year only half the team played). They beat Hamilton albeit early in the season 19-6.
Well let’s get into why we believe that this game will be not much different from the 2019 Final. First and probably really the only reason we need Mike O’Shea who I have been saying all year is the best CFL HC will take Orlondo Steinauer to the woodshed. PERIOD. Then let’s get to the players QB Collaros is better than Evans or Masoli. Running backs give me the GOAT of the CFL Andrew Harris over Don Jackson. WR Lawler, Bailey and Demski are much better than Banks and White. Do you see a theme here?
Now lets do the defense where we will give Hamilton credit as they have a few top players in guys like Simoni Lawrence who might arguably be the best linebacker in the game. However, if Lawrence is Number 1 Adam Bighill is 1A that’s how close they are. Big problem for Hamilton that not many people will talk about because they do not know or understand this game as we do. Let’s talk Desmond Lawrence who was injured in the East Final and even if he plays he will not be 100%. That will be HUGE moving forward and we believe that Winnipeg just have the better overall personal on defense. Winnipeg is ranked Number 1 on defense and Hamilton Number 2 but Hamilton allowed 56 more points than Winnipeg. BTW Winnipeg didn’t have the luxury of playing Ottawa this year as the Tiger Cats did holding them to 10 points in 2 games. Just Saying.
Bottom line for us, we are really shocked at this number we know this game is in Hamilton but we made it 5 1/2 and we know if Winnipeg play like they did last week they could lose. However, we see Winnipeg come with their A game here, as all they have been talking about all season is becoming back to back champs. That happens and we take our 5% CFL run to 12 straight.

Analysis:
Two offenses playing at a lightning-fast pace, who are also both top three in the league in passing rate

Tampa is passing at the highest rate in the NFL and playing at the leagues second fastest pace. This will be the Bills first game without Tredavious White, and Buffalo's statistically excellent defense has struggled this season against better competition, including two games where they allowed 35 and 41 points to Ryan Tannehill and Carson Wentz led offenses.

Buffalo entered last weeks game throwing at the 3rd highest rate in the NFL, and Tampa's secondary is also slightly overvalued from facing a weak schedule of opposing quarterbacks. Bills games are averaging 52 total points over the past four weeks when you remove last weeks wind driven under game against the Patriots

Analysis:
Tampa has had an underrated HFA since the bye week last year when Tampa figured their offense out. Since that bye, at home, Tampa is 7-1 ATS, 8-0 SU, and the fewest amount of points they have scored was 26. Buffalo's defensive metrics look good on paper, but it has been against a laughable schedule of opposing quarterbacks that include Big Ben, Tua, Mills, Lawrence, White, Siemein. Against Wentz and Tannehill led offenses, they gave up 34 and 41 points.

The loss of star cornerback Tredavious White did not show in last weeks game against the Patriots, but against Tampa's high flying offense, it will likely show here. Buffalo's run game is likely to be non existent against Tampa's dominate defensive front, and Josh Allen has not played near the level that he had played last season.

One has to wonder if there is something going on in Buffalo's locker room as well, as HC Sean McDermott seemed disgruntled after the loss against New England about his teams offense. Safeties Jordan Poyer and Myca Hyde made it a point to mention that their defense held New England to 14 points in their post game press conference as well.
