    Dave's Wednesday Free Play:
    1* on Illinois -13.5
The Key: The Illinois Fighting Illini are one of the best teams in the nation. They started slow due to missing some key players but have since rallied by going 6-1 in their last 7 games overall. That includes an upset win at Iowa and comfortable wins over Kansas State, Notre Dame and Rutgers. Their only loss was to Arizona by 4, which may be the best team in the nation. They should make easy work of a Missouri team that is rebuilding this year. The Tigers have blowout losses to Missouri-KC by 14, Florida State by 23, Liberty by 21 and Kansas by 37. It should be more of the same here against Illinois as they are overmatched in this contest. Take Illinois.

NCAA-B | San Diego vs UNLV
Play on: UNLV -8½ -110 at SC Consensus

The Rebels are playing their best basketball. They've won their last three games by 20, 17 and 13 points. I expect another double-digit victory. San Diego allows just 58.7 ppg. However, that's due to a very slow pace, among the slowest in the country, rather than outstanding defense. The Toreros still allow host teams to hit 43.4% of their field goals. UNLV, meanwhile, limits its guests to 38.2% of their field goals. The Rebels, 9-6 ATS their last 15 against teams which allow 64 or fewer points, keep rolling right into Christmas. Consider laying the points.

1 Unit FREE PLAY on Los Angeles Clippers -5.5
The Los Angeles Clippers just got Paul George back from injury and are ready to start playing the way they were before he went out. They have lost three straight coming in. But they should get right here against a Sacramento Kings team that is missing a ton of key players. The Kings will be without Fox, Bagley, Len, Mitchell and Davis tonight and could be without Holmes. The Clippers want to avenge two earlier December losses to the Kings outright as favorites and will have a great chance to do so in blowout fashion tonight against this depleted squad. Los Angeles is 10-1 ATS in its last 11 road games after failing to cover the spread in five or six of its last seven games. Give me the Clippers.

                NBA | Clippers vs Kings
Play on: Clippers -5½ -110 at Mirage

Wednesday NBA Free play. My selection is on Los Angeles minus the points over Sacramento at 10:10 pm et on Wednesday.
The Clippers got tripped up at home against the Spurs two nights ago. In fact, they were blown out by 24 points in that game. That was despite Paul George contributing 25 points, six rebounds and six assists in 30 minutes in his first game back in two weeks. Tonight, I look for the Clips to snap their three-game losing streak as they travel to Sacramento to face a Covid-ravaged Kings squad. Sacramento has lost five of its last seven games and over its last eight games has allowed four of its seven highest point totals of the season. The Kings are just 9-19 ATS in their last 28 home games after an ATS loss, outscored by an average margin of 6.4 points in that situation. The Clippers, meanwhile, are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 road games after losing five or six of their last seven games ATS, as is the case here, outscoring opponents by 12.3 points on average in that spot. Take Los Angeles.
