My clients and I cashed a ‘right side’ winner with Memphis last night with their outright upset win in Brooklyn. Tonight’s game is even stronger; worthy of a Big Ticket sized wager.
Memphis is playing elite-level basketball right now, but the betting markets have been slow to adjust. The Grizz are 15-4 SU in their last 19 ballgames including eight straight-up wins as underdogs, stepping up in class very well. In fact, the Grizzlies are 8-1 (89%) in their last nine tries as underdogs on any floor, and 9-1 (90%) ATS in their last ten road games, two Under-the-Radar angles worth riding again tonight. It’s worth noting that the Grizzlies swept the Cavs last year, winning both games by double-digit margins, and it’s also worth noting that the Grizz have a winning ATS mark on the second night of back-2-backs and a 9-2 ATS mark on the road off a road win this season.
Cleveland, on the other hand, is dealing with a rotation in flux. The best point spread team in the NBA for the first two months of the season has now failed to cover the spread in four consecutive games, beating only the struggling Pacers in SU fashion during that span. And, after a 14-0 ATS run that ended just before Christmas, the Cavs are dealing with the other side of the ‘value’ equation now, compared to before the run, quite simply an overvalued commodity right now. Three of their top four point guards are hurt, key energy role player Cedi Osman won’t suit up tonight, and this is a team that has slipped out of the rhythm of late. Live dog here! Big Ticket: Take the Grizzlies
