For the 2nd year in a row the Detroit Pistons have been a very good team to bet on when they are a home underdog in this type of price range. The Pistons are 10-4 this season and 23-10 overall the last two years combined against the spread when at home getting +5 points or more. Detroit is playing much better basketball of late as they posted just 5 straight-up wins the first 10 weeks this season but in the just the month of January the Pistons have notched 6 victories overall.

The Cleveland Cavaliers haven't played well lately when they are facing a bad team as they have covered the spread just 2 times their last 10 games versus opponents with a losing record overall. The Cavaliers are in the first game of a back to back spot here in this one. You have to wonder how long they will want to play their starters in this one knowing they have to play again tomorrow. Added all up and this seems to be asking a lot here from Cleveland to not only win this game but do so by a sizable margin.
