The Timberwolves will be on no rest and playing their 3rd game in 4 nights, but that's clearly been baked into this number. Also a lot easier to get up for a top tier team when you are tired than a middle of the pack or worse team. Suns are also far from full strength right now. Phoenix is without DeAndre Ayton, Jae Crowder, JaVale McGee, Abdel Nadar, Cam Payne, Frank Kaminsky and Dario Saric. Bet the Timberwolves +8.5!

The Suns are not a team I normally like to go against. But I'm going to try it here with much of my handicap based on trusting the Timberwolves.
Minnesota is one of the more improved teams in the league with Anthony Edwards emerging as a star. That gives the Timberwolves two elite players with Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns. At 24-24, the Timberwolves already have exceeded their win total of last season.
Phoenix has won eight in a row. The Suns are coming off an away/home sweep of the Jazz. Those are satisfying victories for Phoenix. So there could be a letdown factor for Phoenix, which is 2-6 ATS the last eight times as a home favorite.
The Timberwolves came up short against the Warriors, 124-115, at Golden State last night. Just too much Stephen Curry. Now the Timberwolves get tested right away again against the best of the west. They have the talent and motivation to keep this one close. Minnesota is 7-1-1 ATS following a loss.
The first meeting between these two teams was close with the Suns holding on for a 99-96 road win on Nov. 15.

I'll take my chances with the Knicks as a near double-digit road dog against the Bucks Friday night in Milwaukee. I just think the combination of New York coming in having lost 5 of 6 and fresh off an ugly 96-110 loss at Miami, has them catching a few too many points in this one.
Knicks effort against the Heat was pretty bad. They got blitzed 30-16 in the 1st quarter and went into the 4th quarter down 92-67. Hard to believe they won't come out with a little more fight tonight.
You also got to factor in the inflation on this Bucks team this year. Milwaukee is just 3-9 ATS over their last 12 games. They got a solid 17-8 record at home this year, but are just 10-15 ATS in those games. Give me New York +9.5!
