NBA | Clippers vs Grizzlies
Play on: Grizzlies -8 -105 at pinnacle
Jack's Free Pick Tuesday: Memphis Grizzlies -8
The Memphis Grizzlies are playing as well as anyone in the NBA right now. They are 18-4 SU & 17-5 ATS in their last 22 games overall with 14 of those wins coming by 8 points or more. They should make easy work of the Los Angeles Clippers at home tonight.
The Grizzlies are rested and ready to go playing just their 2nd game in 6 days. They face a Clippers team that has been feisty despite being short-handed, but they were just blown out by 24 points by the Bucks at home last time out. And I don't think they have the horses to keep this game with the Grizzlies competitive, either.
Memphis is 3-0 SU & 3-0 ATS in its last three meetings with the Clippers. Two of those came this season with a 12-point home win and a 15-point road win. The Grizzlies are 26-10 ATS in their last 36 games overall, including 7-1 ATS in their last eight home games. Bet the Grizzlies Tuesday.Comment

NBA | Rockets vs Pelicans
Play on: Rockets +9½ -106 at pinnacle
Dave's Tuesday Free Play:
1* on Houston Rockets +9.5
The Key: I like the price we are getting on the Houston Rockets tonight. They are going to want to avenge their 107-120 home loss to the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday. Now they get to square off with the Pelicans again here just 2 days later. I can't see New Orleans wanting it badly enough to beat the Rockets by double-digits tonight. The Pelicans will be without some key players that they just traded as well. The Rockets are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 road games. The Pelicans are 13-27-1 ATS in their last 41 home games against a team that wins less than 40% of their road games. Take Houston.Comment

NCAA-B | Illinois vs Purdue
Play on: Illinois +6 -110 at linepros
This is a play on the ILLINOIS FIGHTING ILLINI for our Tuesday Free Play. Purdue has won five straight games to move to 9-3 in the Big Ten Conference and remains home where it is 12-1 but is still overpriced here because of that and the recent success. The Boilermakers have dominated the poor teams but have struggled to an extent against quality opposition and while their best win did come at Illinois, it sets up a revenge spot for the Illini. The Boilermakers are 0-6-1 ATS in their last seven home games against teams with a road winning percentage of greater than .600. Illinois has won four games in a row including three very quality wins over Michigan St., Wisconsin and Indiana and the Illini are now 10-2 in the conference. They have had success on the road with a 7-3 record and while this is a big test, this is a complete roster that will not be intimidated here. The Illini are 5-0 ATS in their last five games as a road underdog. Here, we play against favorites in the second half of the season that are averaging 76 or more ppg going up against teams allowing between 63 and 67 ppg, after a win by six points or less. This situation is 49-25 ATS (66.2 percent) over the last five seasons. Play (663) Illinois Fighting IlliniComment

1 Unit FREE PLAY on Minnesota Timberwolves -6.5
The Sacramento Kings just traded away Tyrese Haliburton, Buddy Hield and Tristan Thompson today. They could be without both De'Aaron Fox and Marvin Bagley, who are both questionable. That's a lot to lose for this game against the surging Minnesota Timberwolves who are 4-0 SU & 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall with four straight wins by 11 points or more. The Kings are just 4-13 SU in their last 17 games overall. Minnesota is 13-5 ATS in its last 18 games against a team with a losing record. The Timberwolves are 3-0-1 ATS in the last four meetings. Give me the Timberwolves.Comment

Mike Lundin's Timberwolves vs Kings Free Pick February 8, 2022
The Minnesota Timberwolves are on fire. They are coming into this contest riding a four-game winning streak SU and ATS and while they are 1-7 ATS in their last eight road games, note that they are 8-3-1 ATS in their last 12 road games vs. a team with a losing home record.
The Kings are 14-16 SU home at Golden 1 Center.
Timberwolves are 3-0-1 ATS in the last 4 meetings.
Free pick on Minnesota Timberwolves.

NBA | Magic vs Blazers
Play on: Magic +4 -110 at linepros
The Blazers have lost and failed to cover 5 straight games and are obviously not operating at an optimal performance level especially at home where they are are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games as a home favorite. Note: ( CJ McCollum traded to Pelicans)
Meanwhile, the Magic despite of very inconsistent efforts are 23-11 ATS in their last 34 road games vs. a team with a losing home record and deserve a look here as underdogs. ORLANDO is 8-1 ATS in road games after failing to cover 3 of their last 4 against the spread this season.
PORTLAND is 6-14 ATS when playing 6 or more games in 10 days this season.PORTLAND is 6-15 ATS after having lost 4 or 5 of their last 6 games this season.
NBA Home teams vs. the money line (PORTLAND) - in a game involving two average defensive teams (108-114 PPG) after 42+ games, after allowing 130 points or more are 13-33 L/25 seasons for a go against 71% conversion rate for bettors.
NBA Road underdogs of 3.5 to 9.5 points (ORLANDO) - cold team - having lost 15 or more of their last 20 games against opponent after having lost 4 or 5 of their last 6 games are 49-20 ATS L/5 seasons for a 71% conversion rate for bettors.Comment

NCAA-B | St. Mary's vs Santa Clara
Play on: Santa Clara +3 -110 at pinnacle
My free play is on Santa Clara at 11:00 ET.
Randy Bennett took over at St Mary's in 2001-02 and had his first 20-win season (25-9) in 2004-05. Starting in the 2007-08 season and going through the 2019-20 season, his Gaels won 20-plus games for 13 consecutive years. That streak ended with a 14-10 record last season but 19-4 Gaels (7-1 WCC) are ONE win away from another 20-win season and can accomplish just that when they visit the 16-8 Santa Clara Broncos (6-3) WCC) Tuesday night.
St Mary's entered the AP top-25 on Monday at No.22, the school's first ranking since early in the 201920 season. Saint Mary’s is led by a trio of frontcourt and backcourt players. The 6-10 Tass leads in scoring (13.2) and rebounding (6.4), joined in the frontcourt by the 6-7 Fotu (7.7 & 3.6) and the 6-8 Bowen (5.8 & 6.1). Guard Ducas (11.1 & 3.7), Johnson (10.7) and Kuhse (9.9-3.7-3.4) round out the team's six-man rotation. The Gaels average a modest 69.9 PPG but are one of the nation's top defensive teams, holding opponents to 58.4 PPG (8th)
Santa Clara is run by Herb Sendek, who has led Miami-Ohio, NC St (five times) and Arizona St to NCAA bids, He started at Santa Clara for the 2016-17 season but in his five previous years, has yet to garner a postseason tourney invite. However, that could change this season, although an NCAA bid would only come via winning the WCC tourney. The Broncos own a solid starting-five, led by guard Williams (18.1-3.9-3.4) and the 6-9 Vrankic (14.9 & 5.4). Joining Vrankic up front are the 6-7 Justice (14.0 & 7.8) and the 6-10 Braun (8.7 & 6.3) Pipes (10.5) starts with Williams in ten backcourt a pair of reserve guards combine to add 11.6 PPG.
This is a true contrast in styles, as St Mary's plays at a slow pace and grinds up opponents, while Santa Clara plays one of the fastest tempos in Division I. The teams played Jan 20 in Moraga, with the Gaels winning 73-65, giving St Mary's 10 wins in the last 12 meetings with the Broncos. However, Santa Clara catches St Mary's a day AFTER it entered the AP poll and I'm calling for a "W" by the Broncos. No real upset here!
Good luck...LarryComment

NCAA-B | UCLA vs Stanford
Play on: Stanford +7½ -107 at pinnacle
This is a free play on Stanford.
The UCLA Bruins come into Stanford as a 7.5 point favorite, after losing in overtime at Arizona State. The Cardinal have been Giant Killers this season, beating USC twice, winning on the road at Washington State and beating Oregon at home. Stanford is 10-2 straight up at home, while the Bruins are 2-2 straight up in their last four road games. None of those road games for UCLA were wins by seven or more points. Since 2017 Stanford has won all three home meetings versus UCLA, and all those games were close (two games went to OT).
