5-Unit Play - #723 Boston College +7.5 -110 over Miami (Thursday, March 10, 2022, 2:30 PM)
Take Boston College ATS as my top college basketball pick for Thursday afternoon. This pick falls into one my top college basketball systems and yes Boston College did lose against Miami by 11 points back on March 2 as Miami shot 56.4% against them however it's important to note that Boston College did shoot 50% against Miami in that game. Miami also shot 48% as a team from beyond the arc in the and 11-point victory against Boston College which will not happen here today. Boston College is coming off a very impressive win against Wake Forest and I would not be shocked to see them pull off the upset here today. It's also important to note that Boston College shot just 57% as a team from the line in that 11-point loss against Miami but they have shot 72.7% as a team from the line on the road this season. 4-Unit Play: Take #729 George Mason -6.5 -110 over Fordham (12:00p.m., Thursday, March 10) We give the defensive advantage to Fordham here but that's about it. The Rams rank #51 in adjusted defensive efficiency rating but rank a putrid 312nd when it comes to adjusted offensive rating. What makes that number even more concerning is the fact that they have played the #240 easiest strength of schedule when it comes to opposing defenses with an average rating of 105.1. George Mason are a top-150 defense and should be able to make every possession difficult on Fordham. The Patriots rank in the top-100 in offensive rating and have more talent they can lean on in these big games. We should also add this is a big revenge spot for George Mason who lost by three in the previous head-to-head where they only managed 47 points.


4-Unit Play: Take #756 Under 146 -110 in West Virginia and Kansas (3:00p.m., Thursday, March 10) We have historically found most of our edge and value by betting totals in February and March, so we will now be providing our model edge plays which have treated us very well over the past decade. We will not be providing a write up for these plays and will copy this message across all plays that fit our number and model edge.


4-Unit Play: Take #710 Kent State -6.5 -110 over Miami Ohio (4:00p.m., Thursday, March 10) Both teams struggle on the offensive end, so this will come down to is able to dominate on the defensive end. The Redhawks rank #327 in adjusted defensive efficieny rating while Kent State are in the top-75 when adjusting for strength of schedule. The Golden Flashes should also be able to dominate on the boards and create plenty of second chance opportunities. Value at anything under 7.


4-Unit Play: Take #729 Weber State -4 -110 over Montana (4:30p.m., Thursday, March 10) Weber State have only covered once in their last 10 games which is providing us with ample value here. The Wildcats rank in the top-150 offenses when adjusting for strength of schedule and have showed the inability to shut anyone down with one of the worst defensive units in all of college basketball. We should also note that Weber State rank in the top-50 when it comes to point distrubition from the free-throw line and that is the achilles' heel for Montana that struggle with fouls and consistently put their opponents at the line. This price is short.


4-Unit Play: Take #782 USC -6 -110 over Washington (11:30p.m., Thursday, March 10) USC are the far, far superior team and Washington are being overvalued after they easily took care of Utah last night. The Trojans are a top-50 team on both offense and defense and should give the Huskies all they can handle. We made this line closer to -9 so plenty of value at the current market price and the sharp PPH accounts we monitor are in full agreement.

4-Unit Play. Take Virginia Tech -1.5 over Notre Dame (Thursday @ 7pm est)

Dud of a day yesterday for us, but we have put a good run together coming into yesterday and we will do the same again. Note, NBA now sits at +6500 and we likely will have a step-out soon and NHL is getting close to +4000 on the year. Per this selection, Va Tech beat Notre Dame earlier this year and though Notre Dame can indeed get that revenge, I think Va Tech is the better team and they likely get it done again. Remember, Virginia Tech is top 20 in effective field goal percentage, they held off a feverish attack by Clemson to win the last contest, they are top 5 in effective field goal percentage and Notre Dame is one of the worst offensive rebounding teams in the country as well. I think Tech gets it done today.
