This is the Midwest region second round. Richmond (24-12 SU, 17-18-1 ATS) is the 12-seed and just pulled off a big upset in the opening round, taking down Iowa 67-63 as 9.5-point dogs. Meanwhile, Providence (26-5 SU, 18-13 ATS) is the 4-seed and just took care of business against South Dakota State, winning 66-57 and covering as 2.5-point favorites. This line opened with Providence listed as a 3-point favorite. The public is happy to lay the short chalk with the far better seeded Friars, yet we've seen this line remain frozen at 3 or even inch down to 2.5 at some shops, signaling pro money grabbing the points with underdog Richmond. On the other hand, Murray State (31-2) is the 7-seed and just beat San Francisco 92-87, covering as 2.5-point favorites. This line opened with Murray State listed as an 8-point favorite.
