August Young (Docs sports) 2-Unit Parlay: Take #24862 Under 1.5 Rounds -195 in Denis Tiuliulin and Aliaskhab Khizriev and Take #24802 Curtis Blaydes -450 over Chris Daukaus (Parlay @ -120) (5:25p.m., Saturday, March 26) We love the under in Tiuliulin and Khizriev but the price has ballooned from the opener of -110 to -195. This fight is a gigantic mismatch in so many ways. Khizriev isn't going to waste any time in getting either the KO or submission. This moneyline is -1,000 for a reason. We will parlay the under with Curtis Blaydes -450 who should dominate this fight from start to finish. Chris Daukaus was brutally knocked out just 12 weeks ago and is jumping back in too soon against a savage in Curtis Blaydes who will wrestle the life out of him.
2-Unit Play: Take #24845 Max Griffin +220 over Neil Magny (6:40p.m., Saturday, March 26) Neil Magny just doesn't do it for us. He's a decision machine that is unbelievably boring to watch. Max Griffin is on a three-fight win streak and is being completedly disrespected here. He should be able to utilize his leg kicks like he did against Condit and find his way on the inside as the fight progresses. Magny has good clinch work but we saw how he was controlled and dominated by the much stronger Michael Chiesa. He could face similar problems against Griffin who will have a significant strength advantage. This price is too juicy to pass up.
4-Unit Play: Take #24853 Marc Diakiese +130 over Viacheslav Borshchev (7:10p.m., Saturday, March 26) MarcDiakiese is super inconsistent which is always a cause for concern, but if he shows up in good form, he should have Borshchev covered in most situations. After starting 3-0 in the UFC, Diakiese has only won two of his last seven fights which is creating an overreaction in the market. This is a huge step up in class for Viacheslav and hasn't proven anywhere near enough to be listed as the favorite here.
4-Unit Play: Take #24810 Under 2.5 Rounds +180 in Kai Kara France and Askar Askarov (8:50p.m., Saturday, March 26) Too much value to pass up here. Askarov is -400 for good reason, and should be able to utterly dominate in the grappling department. Kai has shown the tendency to dwindle in fights that require mental toughness and the submission should be there for Askar as the fight progresses. There is also early upside for a surprise knockout win for KKF. Solid value on the under all-around.
2-Unit Parlay: Take #24806 Alexa Grasso -250 over Joanne Wood and Take #24802 Curtis Blaydes -450 over Chris Daukaus (Parlay @ -140) (5:25p.m., Saturday, March 26) Similar situation to our first parlay we listed above. We love Alexa Grasso to get this one done but the price is getting a little out of hand. Joanne Wood has now lost three-straight and won only two in her last six fights. It's hard to explain, but she just doesn't have 'it' - whatever 'it' is. This is a set up fight for Alexa as she continues to climb the ranks getting a big win over a higher ranked opponent. We will once again utilize Curtis Blaydes as leg-two of the parlay to bring Grasso down to a more playable range.
