#12 Papa Bro He has run well enough with some better groups in the past, and he has done his better work at larger ovals like Louisiana Downs or Evangeline, so maybe he can transfer his pace-tracking form here today.
#5 Aw Shucks Think he's another one with a big claim on this, as he has some good positional pace and has been competitive with similar in the past, but I worry that he has been pretty comfortable settling for underneath pieces lately.
#9 Gallant Star Think he's in the mix after a pretty nice effort to score last time out, but his form isn't all that consistent, so I don't really trust him to bring something similar right back.
Race Summary Papa Bro might get the right kind of trip from this wide draw, as he's fast enough to stay in the mix in the early going and might be able to press and pounce home.

#8 Seeking Sawyer He has done some pretty good work in a couple local dirt starts, but I'm most interested to see him get on this turf course where his mom was a stakes winning sprinter. Expecting a good effort.
#2 High Front Tough to argue with what this guy did in the debut run when he rolled on the turf at Gulfstream, and he's a really good fit with this group right back. Some concern he doesn't repeat that effort, but there is clearly a little bit of ability there.
#4 Roman Poet He owns some pace that will keep him up top early on, but I worry that there are enough other forward types to keep the pace a bit too honest for him to see this whole thing through.
Race Summary Seeking Sawyer has shown a little ability from off the splits, and that should serve him well in a race with a few potential speedy forward types. The surface switch intrigues, too.

#3 Dynamite Gift She has tables to turn on the likely chalk in here, but I like the way she finally broke through with a good effort last time out. She figures to get a pretty good run of things from close range here.
#1 Shelley's Money She was an easy winner in her Louisiana Downs debut, and like she shares a dam with the top choice in Race 7, so there is some pedigree for her to decent. Rail draw could be tough, but I'm interested to see what she brings off the bench.
#7 Bout Time She was a dominant winner in her first turf try, and the runner-up was back to graduate next time out and will line up again here, too. I respect her last one, but I worry she's overbet.
Race Summary Dynamite Gift might offer a fair enough mid-range price while stepping up to face winners for the first time, and she has the right kind of style to try and take over into the lane and hold. Wouldn't be a surprise right back.
