1st race – (6) Mimi’s Beach House steps up slightly in class while getting some extra distance. Looks best among this group. (8) Cacheton was second last time and should be the main rival. (3) Quite Ready takes a class drop for new connections and could be a factor. (5) Dirt Road Dollars was second at this level but is untested on Tapeta. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-5-6-8.
3rd race – (4) Banker’s Hours posted a front-running maiden win and can handle winners here. (2) Picture Perfect exits a maiden win and should be dangerous. (3) Street Facts also fits in nicely after a maiden win. (6) Unified Conquest missed by a neck last time and cannot be ignored. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-4. Exactas: 2-4 over 3-6 and 3-6 over 2-4. Doubles: 2-3-4-6 with 2-5-6-8.
4th race – (5) Wonka (A) was a solid second in her debut and should graduate today. (2) Awesome Street may take a step forward on turf. (8) Linda’s Gift is worth a look in her debut. (6) Reign of Love is another firster who deserves attention. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-5-6-8.
8th race – (8) Alley Oop Johnny debuts for Maker and finds a spot where he can post another win. (6) Tango Tango Tango has experience in stakes company and will be formidable on his best try. (5) Ready Hero was a good second last time and put in a bullet work for today’s race. (7) Bohemian Boy will be better suited by this distance. Betting strategy: 8 to win, place. Exacta box: 5-6-7-8.
10th race – (3) Rogers Ginger drops in claiming price and should be able to handle this group. (12) Shea D Capture has an interesting pedigree for turf. (2) Kodiak Mamba should be a factor in the final furlong. (1) Piypa de Lynda will benefit from a rail trip. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-3-12.
