The Canes steamrolled the Capitals 6-1 in a revenge game of their own last night but now it's the Lightning's turn. Tampa has dropped both previous meetings with Carolina this season but should respond with a victory here on home ice. The Bolts are a perfect 10-0 at home seeking revenge for a one-goal loss against an opponent over the last two seasons, outscoring the opposition by 2.8 goals on average in that spot. The Canes, meanwhile, are just 55-75 when coming off consecutive wins by 2+ goals, as is the case here, and worse still - a long-term 87-138 when playing on the road off two or more consecutive victories, outscored by an average margin of 0.6 goals along the way. Take Tampa Bay.

The Milwaukee Bucks will be fully healthy for this game Tuesday night. It has been rare for them to have Giannis, Holiday and Middleton in the lineup at the same time this season, but when they have had all three they have been dominant.
The Bucks realize the No. 1 seed in the East is up for grabs as they are just one game back. They will be 'all in' here down the stretch to get it, and I don't think they should be underdogs to the Philadelphia 76ers tonight at full strength. They also come in on two days' rest so they will be fresh and ready to go.
The Bucks have owned the 76ers in recent meetings. They are 6-1 SU & 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings despite being favored by 6 points or more in all seven. Now they are actually underdogs to the 76ers, so there's clearly some value on the Bucks tonight when comparing lines from recent head-to-head meetings.
This will be the 10th game in 16 days for the 76ers, who won't be nearly as fresh as the Bucks tonight. They are coming off a three-game road trip against the Lakers, Clippers and Suns out on the West Coast. Bet the Bucks on the Money Line Tuesday.

My free play is on Washington St at 9:30 ET.
Kyle Smith won the CIT championship and finished 25-10 in his final season at Columbia. That led to a three-year stint at San Francisco, where his teams went 63-40. He left for Washington St but his first two years were disappointing (16-16 and 14-13). However, the Cougars finished 11-9 in the Pac 12 this season and now, after THREE straight wins (and covers), his Cougars are in the NIT 'Final 4.' Buzz Williams led Marquette to four NCAA bids in his five years at the school and then led Va Tech to three NCAA berths in another five-year run. However, he entered the current season just 24-24 in his first two years at Texas A&M. The Aggies went 20-11 in the regular season but a 9-9 SEC record left the Aggies as the No. 8 seed in a tourney. The Aggies rose to the occasion and beat Florida, No. 4 Auburn and No. 15 Arkansas, before losing to No. 9 Tennessee in the SEC title game. A&M felt it was snubbed by the NCAA committee but has taken the NIT seriously, beating Alcorn St, Oregon and Wake Forest (all at home) to reach MSG.
Wash St has a nice guard rotation in Flowers (14.4-3.3-3.4), Roberts (11.3), Williams (9.6) and Bamba (7.7 & 3.5). Up front, it's the 6-10 Abogidi (8.0 & 5.7) and the 6-11 Gueye (7.5 & 5.2). Texas A&M has three double digit scorers on the season in guards Jackson (14.5) and Radford (10.8 & 6.2) plus the 6-7 Coleman (11.0 & 6.9), who is really the team's only quality frontcourt player. Taylor (8.4) leads a group of four guards that combine to add about 28 points. Stepping up in the NIT for Wash St are Flowers (49 points in road wins over SMU and BYU), Roberts (14.3 & 5.0 in three games) and Abogidi (10.3 & 5.3). Stepping up for A&M in particular have been Radford (10.7 & 11.0) and Taylor (11.3 PPG, scoring in double digits in all three).
Both teams have played shut down defense, as Wash St has allowed 57.0 PPG and A&M 58.0. I really like Kyle Smith and I'll back his Cougars in this one. Texas A&M coach Buzz Williams was so steamed at the NCAA selection committee that he issued a nine-page statement why his team should have made the four-letter field after a first-round NIT win over Alcorn State. A&M is away from College Station for the first time in the tourney and the only 'statement Williams will be issuing after this game is how his team got outplayed by Washington St.
