ZERO DOWN - Gelding has shown some pace. This shorter trip should be better for him. Silva drops him down to this level. You don't need too much more handicapping info to think this one should be one of the top contenders at this level. Ranked number one in earnings per start. Another confirmation that this equine has the class to win today. SKY CONFIDENTIAL - I like to see fast drills. This gelding's last one was very good. Second fastest of the day. In the last race, ran the last quarter in less than 25 ticks. An indication he can close well, and should be right there at the finish this time around. SEEULATERGATOR - Have to make this gelding a win candidate; he comes off a nice effort on Mar 22nd. This gelding should be at the fitness peak, this far into his form cycle. TENGO SED - I think the shorter distance will help this gelding stay the trip. This pony coming off a sharp performance in the last 30 days is a solid contender in my opinion. Horse has improved at least 2 speed fig points in last 2 races. I look for that positive trend to continue in this event. You have to really like that most recent race speed fig, 84, which is the highest last race speed rating of this group.

STEPHEN JAMES - Nice race on Mar 3rd at Turf Paradise, but the fact that there are no workouts since has to make one a little worried. This gelding registered a speed rating in his last affair which likely isn't good enough today. FREESTONE - Finished second in his most recent race with a somewhat easily forgotten rating. When I look at today's class rating, it would take an improved performance to win after that in this field. Have to be leery of the recent trend and awesome speed fig in the March 8th event. It was this gelding's best at that distance and this one should bounce today. COLAVITO - I forecast a letdown for this equine in this race.
