      MLB | Rangers vs Mariners

Play on: Rangers +120 at Ace

This is a play on the TEXAS RANGERS for our Thursday Free Play. Texas has lost five straight games to fall to 2-9 on the season but is in a good spot here to take the finale before heading to Oakland for a weekend series. The Rangers are 1-6 on the road but the one thing that has stood out as a positive is that they are hitting .283 against left-handed pitching while averaging 8.23 runs per nine innings. The offense is currently in a slump over the last four games but this is the situation to get the bats going. Seattle has won three straight games and five of its last six to move into second place in the American League West, a half-game behind the Angels. The Mariners have allowed two runs in each of the last three games during the current winning streak so the pitching has led the way as the offense has been below average. Seattle has struggled against lefties as it is hitting only .182 while averaging just 2.29 runs per nine innings against southpaws. Here, we play on American League teams who had a slugging percentage .410 or worse last season, with a slugging percentage of .350 or worse over their last five games. This situation is 26-7 (78.8 percent) over the last five seasons. Play (969) Texas Rangers

        MLB | Rangers vs Mariners

Play on: Mariners -125 at SC Consensus

Seattle is a beautiful city and a great place to visit. Unless you're the Texas Rangers.
The Rangers are 2-18 during their last 20 visits to Seattle. They've lost seven straight road games to the Mariners.
This figures to be another long season for the Rangers. So far that is holding true. Texas has the worst record in the American League at 2-9.
The Mariners are 5-1 in their last six games. The Rangers have lost five in a row.
The price is low enough to fade the Rangers again in Seattle.
The pitching matchup is Taylor Hearn versus Marco Gonzales. Hearn has a 4.70 ERA. He couldn't get out of the fourth inning against the Angels during his last start this past Saturday giving up three runs on six hits. Hearn is 0-3 lifetime against the Mariners with a 6.20 ERA in 12 appearances, including three starts.
Gonzales can get hot in stretches. He looked good in his last start, holding the Astros to one run on four hits in seven innings during an 11-1 win this past Friday. Gonzales is 8-6 lifetime against Texas with a 3.73 ERA.
