NHL | Penguins vs Rangers
Play on: Rangers -123 at circa
This is a free play on NYR.
The Pittsburgh Penguins still have star power with Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin, but they lost their starting goaltender at the end of the regular season. History tells us that goaltending is the most important ingredient to a successful run in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Backup goalie Casey DeSmith will be filling in for Tristan Jarry. He faced the Rangers once in the regular season conceding four goals in an overtime loss. The Rangers are in good shape with Igor Shesterkin who lead the NHL in GAA as well as save percentage. The home team is just a small favorite and they have the best goalie in the world at the moment. The Rangers look like a bargain at this price.

Tuesday's MLB Free Pick: Twins/Orioles UNDER 7
I'll take my chances with the UNDER 7 in Tuesday's series opener with the White Sox and Orioles. Baltimore's changes to Oriole Park have really made it a pitchers' park. The Orioles have played 10 games at home this year and the UNDER has gone 8-1-1 with an average combined score of just 5.6.
Not only are runs extremely tough to come by in Baltimore, but we got two very underrated starters on the mound in Minnesota's Joe Ryan and the Orioles Bruce Zimmermann. Ryan is 3-1 with a 1.17 ERA and 0.696 WHIP in 4 starts. Zimmermann is just 1-1, but has a sensational 0.93 ERA and 1.190 WHIp in his first 4 starts and he's faced the Yankees twice, the Angels and the Brewers. Give me the UNDER 7! Confidence Rating: 5 (Scale of 1-10)

Jack's Free Pick Tuesday: Toronto Blue Jays -129
It's tough to bet against the Yankees at this point and their 10-game winning streak, during which I have been riding them plenty. But this looks like the spot the streak comes to an end against Toronto's ace in Alek Manoah.
Manoah went 9-2 with a 3.22 ERA and 1.048 WHIP in 20 starts in his rookie season last year. He has picked up where he left off, going 4-0 with a 1.44 ERA and 0.880 WHIP in four starts this season. Mahoah is 2-0 with a 1.53 ERA and 0.962 WHIP in three career starts against the Yankees as well.
Jameson Taillon is also off to a solid start this season at 1-1 with a 3.26 ERA and 1.241 WHIP in four starts, but he's only averaging 4.8 innings per start. Taillon hasn't had much success against the Blue Jays in the past, going 1-3 with a 4.88 ERA in five career starts against them.
Toronto is a perfect 8-0 following a loss this season, not once losing two games in a row. The Blue Jays are 9-0 in Manoah's last nine starts following a loss. Toronto is 9-0 in Manoah's nine career starts with a money line of +100 to -150. Bet the Blue Jays Tuesday.

Scott "The Bulldog" Rickenbach MLB Free Pick Toronto Blue Jays Money Line -125 vs New York Yankees @ 7:07 ET - So the Yankees have won 10 straight games but the Blue Jays are favored here. The odds makers must not know what they are doing right? You know how I feel about this. The Blue Jays are the play here and get back on track on their home field after losing yesterday's game. Toronto is 8-0 this season when off a loss. Once again, for the 9th straight time, the Blue Jays bounce back off a loss! Free Pick TORONTO -125
Mike Lundin's Yankees vs Blue Jays MLB Free Pick May 3, 2022
The Toronto Blue Jays and the New York Yankees combined for only five runs in a 3-2 Yankees win on Monday. The under is 5-1 in Toronto's last six games, and they scored more than three runs in only one of those six games.
The Yankees are riding a double-digit winning streak fueled by strong pitching, and right-hander Jameson Taillon (1-1, 3.26 ERA) has yet to allow more than two runs in a start this season.
Toronto right-hander Alek Manoah (4-0, 1.44 ERA) has allowed only four runs with 25 Ks against 7 walks over 25 innings this year. He tossed six scoreless innings of one-hit ball in a 3-0 Blue Jays win against the Yankees in his season debut. Just like tonight, he was opposed by Taillon in that game. FREE PICK ON UNDER.

The Yankees are red hot and have won 13 of their L/14 and deserve respect here as underdogs in Toronto in game 2 of this series.
Yankees starter TAILLON is 18-5 against the money line in road games when playing against a team with a winning record since 1997. (Team's Record) and gives us an edge on a value money-line offering. TAILLON is 23-7 L/30 against the money line after giving up 2 or less earned runs in his last 2 outings . (Team's Record) I know Jays starter Manoah has been hot as well, but my batting order vs pitching power rankings suggest the Yanks matchup well here.
Yankees are 4-0 in their last 4 games as a road underdog.Yankees are 7-0 in their last 7 games vs. a right-handed starter.

MLB | White Sox vs Cubs
Play on: White Sox -127 at circa
I won with the White Sox yesterday and I like their chances of another victory in this one. Through four starts, Kopech has an outstanding 1.42 ERA and 0.947 WHIP. In two road starts, his ERA dips to 1.00 and his WHIP falls to 0.889. On the other hand, Smyly has a 7.20 ERA to show for his lone home start. The Cubs are 3-10 under the lights and they're 4-13 the past 17 times that they were off a shutout victory. Consider Kopech and the White Sox

Dave's Tuesday Free Play:
1* on Chicago White Sox -127 The Key: The Chicago White Sox have crushed left-handed pitching over the last few years. They are 44-20 in their last 64 games against left-handed starters. Now they take on lefty Drew Smyly, who is 0-2 with a 5.58 ERA in his last 2 starts while yielding 6 earned runs and 4 HR's in 9 2/3 innings to the Pirates and Braves. Smyly is 0-2 with a 5.63 ERA in 6 lifetime starts against the White Sox and his teams are 1-5 in those 6 starts. Michael Kopech sports a 1.42 ERA and 0.95 WHIP in 4 starts this year and is the much superior start in this matchup. Take the White Sox.
