The Penguins have done remarkably well in this series considering their goal-tending situation, but with Crosby and Rakell both questionable, and Domingue paired up against Shesterkin, the balance of this series may be shifting towards the Rangers. The Rangers have had very little success vs the Penguins in Pittsburgh, but facing elimination, tonight may be the night for change. The Rangers kept the shot total to 32 last game, down considerably from previous games. After two poor showings on the road, I expect Shesterkin to show his Vezina-calibre stuff tonight and keep the Rangers in this one. The Rangers definitely have the firepower to win game six and stay alive. I am wagering on the Rangers to win, and so should you.Comment

These are two of the worst hitting teams in baseball in the Detroit Tigers and Baltimore Orioles. The Tigers are hitting .220 and scoring 2.7 runs per game. The Orioels are hitting .233 and scoring 3.5 runs per game. Both starters have held their own this season. Jordan Lyles has a 4.05 ERA in six starts and Eduardo Rodriquez a 4.50 ERA and 1.16 WHIP in six starts. Lyles has a 4.50 ERA and 1.17 WHIP in two previous starts against Detroit. I'll take my chances with the Rays as a +116 home dog against the Blue Jays on Friday. Toronto should not be a favored in this matchup. The Blue Jays have a losing record on the road this season and come in having lost 4 straight and 7 of their last 9 overall.
It's been a real offensive struggle for Toronto the last couple of weeks. Blue Jays have recorded double-digit hits just once in their last 11 games and have scored 3 or fewer in 8 of those 11 games. It doesn't figure to get any better in this one, as Tampa Bay will have Drew Rasmussen on the mound. Rasmussen has a 2.89 ERA and 0.964 WHIP in 6 starts, a 1.80 ERA in 2 home starts and a 1.12 ERA in his last 3 outings. Rays are 5-1 in his 6 starts. Give me the Rays +116!
