HEATIN UP - Chleborad brings this filly back into a race rather than a workout. He knows his filly is on top of her game. This filly should be in fine form, this far into her form cycle.

WICKED STREET - This mount hasn't been on the track since April 24th. Not even any drills. Going to have a difficult go of it with all of the other early lick in this event. GEE SHE'S PRETTY - This filly didn't do much for me last time out. SAYAAD AIN'T SO - Any speed figure attained on a sloppy track has to be taken with a grain of salt.

SHELLEY'S GEM - Correa is right back for another race today after riding on board this horse for the first ride on Apr 16th and ought to know the ropes to this one a little better. This mare is in nice condition, having run a nice race on April 16th, finishing second. Dropping 5 lbs from last race. Could be a deciding factor today. Mare is a few starts into a come back here. Should give a top effort today. EASY EYES - Severino rode this horse for the first time last time around the track and comes right back in today's race. When Severino and DaCosta are put together on horses the return on investment has been great at +46. Recent speed figures show strong pattern of improvement. Have to make this mare a win candidate; she comes off a strong effort on May 9th. LA MUNECA - The fact that this mare is entered right back into a race so quickly means she's fit and ready.

Vulnerable Contenders: #4 COURTLY (ML=3/1), #7 CAROL'S ROYALTY (ML=9/2), #6 MAVI (ML=6/1),

COURTLY - 3/1 is too low of a value to take on most any horse that has run poorly in back to back outings. CAROL'S ROYALTY - Ran her best speed figure last time around the track, but the 'off track' may have had something to do with it. Pace is so important, and this speedball is going to have a speed battle on her hands. MAVI - It seems like too much early speed is entered in this race. This speedball will almost certainly get cooked on the top end. Unlikely that the speed figure she earned on May 7th will be enough in this race.
