              MLB Sharp Action

4:10 p.m. ET: Chicago White Sox (30-32) at Houston Astros (40-24)
The Astros crushed the White Sox 13-3 in last night's series opener, cruising as -160 home favorites. In this late afternoon rematch, Chicago hands the ball to veteran righty Johnny Cueto (0-3, 3.53 ERA) while Houston counters with righty ace Justin Verlander (8-2, 1.94 ERA). This line opened with the Astros listed as a -185 home favorite and the White Sox a +170 road dog. Pros aren't outsmarting themselves in this one. They're backing the better team with their ace on the mound, steaming Houston up from -185 to -215. Home favorites -200 or more are 101-41 (71%) this season. Houston is 35-17 as a favorite. Chicago is 8-15 as a dog. The Astros are +59 in run differential. The White Sox are -45.

7:15 p.m. ET: St. Louis Cardinals (37-29) at Boston Red Sox (35-30)
The Red Sox took Friday night's Interleague Series opener 6-5, cashing as short -120 home favorites. In tonight's rematch, St. Louis starts righty Dakota Hudson (4-3, 3.29 ERA) and Boston taps righty Kutter Crawford (1-1, 5.74 ERA). This line opened with the Red Sox listed as a -120 home favorite and the Cardinals a +110 road dog. Pros have jumped on the Cardinals getting plus money, dropping St. Louis from +110 to +105. Road teams off a loss who made the playoffs the previous season are 75-58 (56%) this season. St. Louis also has value as a dog in a high total game (9.5). Road dogs are 37-45 in Interleague play this season, which is just 45% but has produced an 8% ROI due to the plus money payouts. The Cardinals are 30-23 against righties this season. The Red Sox are just 23-26 against righties.

10:10 p.m. ET: Minnesota Twins (37-29) at Arizona Diamondbacks (31-35)
The Diamondbacks stole last night's Interleague Series opener 7-2, cashing as +120 home dogs. In tonight's rematch, Minnesota sends out righty Dylan Bundy (3-3, 5.87 ERA) and Arizona rebuttals with fellow righty Luke Weaver (1-0. 4.91 ERA). This line opened with Arizona listed as a slight -115 home favorite and Minnesota a +105 road dog. Sharps have sided with the Twins to bounce back with a win, moving Minnesota from +105 to -105. Essentially, respected Twins money has now flipped the game closer to a pick'em. The Twins also have value as a dog in a high total game (9.5). Minnesota's biggest edge comes at the plate, where the Twins are hitting .251 compared to Arizona's .217. Minnesota is +21 in run differential. Arizona is -31.
