#4 Millennial Moon He didn't do a whole lot of running on the dirt in his North American debut, but the move to synthetic footing while getting Lasix and blinkers might be enough to bring him forward a long way today. Hoping the two sharp pace players hook up and he lands a spying spot behind them.
#6 Be the Boss He will have some company up top with another confirmed frontrunner lined up, but he gets the better of the draw against that guy and turned in a really sharp maiden win in his first start over the local footing.
#2 K C Rocket Could easily seem him getting that bridge trip between the forward players and the finishers, as he might fall into a perfect spot right behind the battling pace. Gets the jump on the top choice?
Race Summary Millennial Moon is probably better here after failing to show up in stakes company last time out, but he should appreciate the surface switch here as well as some pretty solid class relief.

Presque Isle Downs - Race #7
Picks Notes
#6 Driftwood I have a small concern that there is enough other pressing pace in here to make things tough for him today, but he's a committed frontrunner who has been knocking on the door with similar for some time. Hoping he gets left alone just long enough to steal this.
#5 Richiesgotgame He might get a bit overbet in here, but he faced a pretty tough top pair in that Illinois-bred stakes try last out, and he should be able to find a tactical spot behind the top choice.
#4 Nice Ace He has some pace to get in the mix early on, but I think he's going to have to be content to settle just a touch off the top choice. He has historically been very tough over the local course.
Race Summary Driftwood has pretty reliable front-end form, and he stacks up well with these on his best day. Hoping this small group leaves him to his own devices early.

Presque Isle Downs - Race #8
Picks Notes
#9 Detailed Outside pace steps up a touch for this, but she was in the mix in the lane last out before fading, and she still has some upside with just two races under her belt while meeting a pretty bad group.
#1 Anothermanicmonday Not a huge fan of cutting the price tag in half after a fairly encouraging debut at the $15,000 level, but that kind of effort obviously keeps her in the mix if she's able to bring something similar here.
#7 Broken Love She's no standout here, but she does have a little bit of grinding finishing ability, and that gives her a real chance to stick around for a piece of this as some of them go in reverse late.
Race Summary Detailed gets a good draw for this one after flashing some pace last time out, and there isn't a lot of confirmed pace in this one, so she has a chance to try and put this one away into the lane after the chasing types give way.

Most Tipped Horse of the Day

The most tipped horse of the day on Horseracing.net on Tuesday is the George Boughey trained Absolute Queen in the 14:15 Beverley tipped up 12 times in the race, at a price of 8/11.

Four runners go to post in the Here Come The Girls EBF Maiden Fillies’ Stakes, run over seven furlongs, and 12 of the tipsters featured on Horseracing.net have tipped up the two year old, who performed well on an impressive debut at Nottingham last time out.

Jon Freeman of The i is the only Naps Table member to have selected Absolute Queen today.

If you’re looking for a slightly bigger price, Kauto The King has received nine tips for the Newton Abbot 20:00, at a price of 2/1.

Amongst the nine tipsters bigging him up for this evening’s race are the Daily Mirror’s Newsboy, 888’s Steve Mullington, and Alex Hammond.

Rounding up the trio of Most Napped Horses today is the James Fanshawe trained Libertus, who runs in the 20:40 Newbury this evening, receiving four Naps at 11/4.

Finally we go to the evening meeting at Newbury Races for our highlighted Spotlight Tip of the Day on Horseracing.net in the shape of the seemingly ever popular Zain Nights.

Seven go to post for the Greenshields JCB Handicap, and with Harry Davies on board, they’ll look to hold off the William Buick ridden Parachute, who closely follows in the betting at around 7/2.

My pick for this event is DELIBERATE. Boasts sound speed figures on average overall when compared with the rest of this group of horses in this race. With a nice class fig average of 77, has one of the best class advantages in this field. Formidable average speed figures in dirt sprint races make this pony a contender. FLEX - Has run admirably when travelling a dirt sprint race. Has solid early pace and will almost certainly fare strongly against this field. I'M SO FLY - Make a note that this one runs with second time Lasix today. Mailhot should be able to get this gelding to break out sharply in this race.

CLICKJAB - This gelding is rounding his way back into shape. Should perform well today. This horse collects a lot of dough per start. I believe he will add to the lifetime earnings today. MUNTIJ - Godsey brings him back again. I advise you stick with this strong gelding. Just see his recent speed figure, 79. That one looks good in this bunch.

Vulnerable Contenders: #4 BEYOND GONE (ML=7/2), #5 BOLD CHROME (ML=8/1), #2 MACHINIST (ML=8/1),

BEYOND GONE - I cannot play this repeated non-winner. Gets the assignment completed infrequently. Will be tough for this horse to beat this bunch off of that last rating. Unlikely to improve enough to run a figure close enough to today's class rating, so put him on the likely underpriced equines list. BOLD CHROME - No good results for this steed in a short distance race over the last 60 days tells me that this gelding is in a tough situation I'd like to see better recent outings with morning line odds of 8/1. This questionable contender ran a most unsatisfactory speed rating last out. He shouldn't run much better and will likely suffer defeat in today's race running that rating. MACHINIST - Equibase speed figures tell a story of declining physical condition. When checking today's Equibase class figure, he will have to register a better speed rating than in the last race to be competitive in this dirt sprint.
