My pick for this event is IMAGE RUN. Contreras has this filly moving well and is a very good pick based on the very good Equibase Speed Figures earned in sprint races as of late. Should be given a chance in this competition if only for the decent Equibase speed fig earned in the last contest. Should best this group of animals here, showing strong figures of late. Z ZS RED - This filly has been consistently running well in her latest outings. She has been racing solidly recently while recording strong speed figs. MI ESTRELLA - One of the most respectable win percentages between this rider and handler make this filly dangerous. Has very good front-end speed and will probably fare quite well against this field.

MASTER LEA - Miranda and Bahena partnered with one another are a handicapper's friend. I think this gelding is ready to run a good one. He's had enough races since the vacation and should be fit. This horse has a lot of class. A good sign in a grass race like we have today. TIZ DEJA BLUE - Ran last out against a tougher field at Belterra Park. The move to a lower level should suit him well. This gelding garnered a strong speed fig of 62 in his last contest. That speed fig should be lofty enough to triumph this time around.

FUTURO - In any contest of 5 furlongs, I like to back a contender that has been sharp in short distance races of late. ROCKA BARRY - Awfully hard to wager on this questionable contender when he hasn't been showing any gumption of late. Recent decreasing speed figs of 55/34/28 give a clue that this animal may be going off form. FOOT SACK - Not a good 'spot' in this affair.
