Just 3-games separate 2nd place Toronto and 3rd place Tampa Bay. Toronto has won two straight coming into tonight's contest. Keven Gausman will start tonight for the Jays. Gausman is 7-8 in his 19 starts with a 3.30 ERA. He's been slight worse of late, going 2-3 in his last seven starts with a 4.64 ERA. The Tampa Bay Rays will counter with Drew Rasmussen. Rasmussen is 6-3 in his 17 starts with a 3.17 ERA. He's been very good at home, going 3-0 in his seven starts with a 2.09 ERA. Still, Jays are a mid-size road favorite here tonight. I like Tampa and they are a live dog. Play the Rays.Comment

I like the Toronto Blue Jays to win this game against the Tampa Bay Rays on Tuesday. The Blue Jays have looked a lot better in their games lately, winning 3/4 over the Tigers but I think this day off is just what they needed to get their offense going again. The Rays haven't looked great in their games, they have lost 3/4 of their previous 4 games but their offense hasn't looked great for a while now and I expect them to struggle to put up runs here. The Rays do have some great pitching but they have been giving up a lot of runs in their games lately and I think the Blue Jays offense is just too good to be shut down by them here. Kevin Gausman (7-8, 3.30 ERA) is up for the Blue Jays here and he hasn't looked great in his starts lately, but he has been a great starter all year for the Jays and I expect him to bounce back here with the Rays offense not looking too great. Drew Rasmussen (6-3, 3.17 ERA) is up for the Rays here but he hasn't looked great in his starts lately, giving up quite a few runs in his previous 3 starts, and I don't see him having a good start against the Jays here who have had a real hot lineup in their games as of late. I like the Blue Jays to win this game.Comment
