Wednesday 9/7/22 Free Plays / Trends / Betting Info / Etc
My “Cutting Room Floor” plays are the situations I considered the closest to being worthy of investment but did not make the “final cut” for my official plays today for subscribers. The last play I cut for Wednesday is with Under the Total in the game between the Texas Rangers and the Houston Astros listing both starting pitchers Cole Ragans and Cristian Javier. Texas (59-76) snapped a nine-game losing streak with a 4-3 victory against the Astros last night. The Rangers have played 4 straight Unders on the road. They have also played 7 of their last 8 games Under the Total against teams with a winning record. Houston (87-49) had been on a five-game winning streak —and the Under is 29-14-1 in their last 44 games after a loss. The Astros have also played 5 straight Unders when playing at home. Take the Under listing both starting pitchers. Best of luck — Frank.

MLB | Guardians vs Royals
Play on: Royals +116 at Ace
Wednesday's Free MLB Pick: Kansas City Royals +116
I'll take my chances with the Royals as a +116 home dog against the Guardians in Wednesday's series finale. This to me is just too good a price to pass up on Kansas City with the big edge they will have on the mound.
Royals will send out veteran Zack Greinke, who has been a completely different pitcher at home compared to on the road. Greinke has a 6.33 ERA in 11 road starts and a 1.98 ERA in 10 home starts. KC is 3-8 when he takes the mound on the road and 7-3 when he starts at home.
Cleveland will be starting 25-year-old Cody Morris, who will be making just his second big league appearance. His only other action came on a start last week (9/2) at home against the Mariners, where he lasted just 2 innings after giving up 3 runs on 4 hits. Give me the Royals +116!
