Handicapped by The Turf Club Analysts

Kentucky Downs - Race #8 - Post: 3:30pm - Stakes - 8.0 furlongs on the Turf. Purse: $750,000 Class Rating: 108 Kentucky Downs Ladies Turf S. (Grade 3)

        Rating:

        #4 LADY SPEIGHTSPEARE (ML=8/1)
        #8 PRINCESS GRACE (ML=3/1)
        #9 STOLEN HOLIDAY (ML=4/1)
        #5 FLIPPANT (ML=12/1)

LADY SPEIGHTSPEARE - This speedball is shortening up today. Should increase her chances of winning. I like this filly a lot here. She shows a lot of consistency, finishing in the money frequently. Attfield is solid in grass routes. This equine should have no justifications if she doesn't win. I really like that most recent race on Aug 13th at Woodbine where she ran first. PRINCESS GRACE - When Stidham gives Geroux a leg up on any mount, you know that with their win percentage you have much more than a fighting chance. STOLEN HOLIDAY - Rider hops right back aboard after getting to know the horse by riding in the last race. That's always a big time angle. A little change in scenery has got to do this one well. Reading the recent past performance lines, it seems like she likes to visit the winner's circle at multiple race tracks. FLIPPANT - This one likes to win at different tracks. The switch in venue today may be a wake up call. Bejarano is reunited today with this animal after enjoying some pretty nice success riding in the past.

Vulnerable Contenders: #1 DALIKA (GER) (ML=2/1), #3 HENDY WOODS (ML=9/2),

DALIKA (GER) - Hasn't been on the Kentucky Downs oval in the last few weeks. Cause for some concern. I'm always apprehensive of any thoroughbred that earns her biggest speed rating on an 'off' track. HENDY WOODS - This runner will almost certainly be pulling up the rear as this group crosses the finish line.

STRAIGHT WAGERS: #4 LADY SPEIGHTSPEARE is the play if we get odds of 6/1 or better
        EXACTA WAGERS: Box [4,5]

        TRIFECTA WAGERS:
        Pass
        SUPERFECTA WAGERS: Pass
