The Bengals made it to the Super Bowl last season, and lost in a close game. Now the linesmakers and the public alike are favoring the Bengals to continue their upward momentum. . However , Im of the belief a hang over is in order and after last seasons lowly output by the Steelers Im betting on them coming out here breathing fire and ready push forward in a new era without veteran QB Ben Rothlisberger in the lineup. I know the Bengals beat the Steelers twice last season, but now with a huge revenge scenario on board, Im betting on under rated Steelers side with a top tier D behind bookends Watts and Highsmith, to make Burrow and company look average at best in game 1 of the season. I expect the New York Giants to be one of the most improved teams in the NFL this season. Daniel Jones hasn't had a fair shake as he has had poor offensive line play and a ton of injuries surrounding him. That will change to start 2022 at least.
The Giants retooled the offensive line by signing G Mark Glowinski and C Jon Feliciano. They also used an early draft pick on Evan Neal, a 340-pounder with big upside. Former first-round pick Andrew Thomas lived up to his potential and improved last season at left tackle. They used a third-round pick on Josh Ezeudu to battle for the LG position.
Saquon Barkley is now two years removed from a torn ACL and should be back to full strength. Kenny Golladay and Kadarius Toney are both healthy to start the season to give Jones two proven weapons outside. The Giants used a second-round pick on WR Wan'Dale Robinson. Sterling Shepard has been the most reliable target for Jones over the past couple seasons.
The Giants held up well defensively last year despite the poor play on offense. They should be even better in 2022 after using a top 10 pick on Kayvon Thibodeaux, who was once projected to be the No. 1 overall pick in his class, but slipped due to character concerns. He'll be opposite Azeez Ojulari, who had eight sacks as a rookie last year. Leonard Williams & Dexter Lawrence form one of the better DT duos in the NFL.
The Tennessee Titans are due for some regression this season after winning all their close games last year. They pulled miracles to get to 12-5 to earn the No. 1 seed in the AFC. It finally caught up with them as they were one-and-done in the playoffs, falling to the Cincinnati Bengals at home in their first playoff game.
The losses are big for the Titans this offseason. They lost WR's A.J. Brown and Julio Jones as well as two starters along the offensive line in OT David Quessenberry and G Rodger Saffold. Tannehill will miss Brown, and Derrick Henry will miss the run blocking of Quessenberry and Saffold. The replacement receivers are Robert Woods and Trylon Burks. Woods is coming off a torn ACL, while Burks is a rookie making his first start.
I think the Giants will win the battle in the trenches in this game, which makes them live underdogs in the opener. This line is inflated due to last year's results with the Giants going 4-13 and the Titans 12-5. These are two completely different teams than last year heading into Week 1 with the Giants on the improve and the Titans on the decline. This game will go down to the wire. Bet the Giants Sunday.

If you use a simple method of calculating last year’s records to determine strength of schedule for the upcoming season, there are only three teams who have an easier schedule than the Giants. The four easiest schedules belong to the four teams that make up the NFC East. Playing in the weakest division in the league allows plenty of opportunity for the Giants to improve on last season’s record.
The #5 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft Kayvon Thibodeaux comes highly touted out of Oregon. He had been projected to go even higher, and the Giants were lucky to get him with their 5th pick. Playing opposite Azeez Ojulari the duo should terrorize opposing quarterbacks in the coming season. The Giants haven’t had a player with at least 12 sacks since 2014, but that is expected to change here in 2022.
The Titans are the reigning AFC South champions after going 12-5 last season, but they might be due to take a step back in 2022.
Six of their 12 wins last year came by three points or less, and for much of the season, it felt like they were getting it done with smoke and mirrors.
They are thin at wide receiver after trading A.J. Brown to the Eagles and releasing Julio Jones. Brown led the team in receiving yards in each of the last three seasons, leaving big shoes to fill for rookie wideout Treylon Burks drafted #18 in the first round out of Arkansas.
The Titans invested heavily in their offensive line when they made Taylor Lewan the highest-paid lineman in the NFL back in 2018. As is often the case, he never really lived up to the lofty expectations after securing the bag. Tennessee is projected to have one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL this season.
Pro Football Focus ranked the Titans 27th in pass-blocking with a 54.3 grade, but ranked them closer to the middle of the pack in run blocking.
Not one of the Titans offensive linemen ranked in the NFL’s top 10 in pass-block or run-block win rate last year.
Despite winning the division and making the playoffs last season, Ryan Tannehill took a major step back. He threw for 33 TDs and just seven INTs in 2020, posting a passer rating of 106.5. He threw twice as many INTs (14) in 2021, and threw just 21 TD passes with a passer rating of 89.6.
His numbers have been trending in the wrong direction since posting a passer rating of 117.5 in 2019, his first season in Tennessee.
With a younger and less experienced receiving corps, an inferior offensive line and a star running back coming off an injury-riddled season, he could be in for a world of hurt in 2022.
I am going to suggest taking the points here with the Giants in Week 1.
