CALL ME DARLIN - With Delcid uptop her, this filly will most likely be able to break out sharply in here. I would have to consider this filly on the jockey and conditioner numbers alone.

AGAINST THE ODDS - That last morning drill tells me this gelding is set for a top effort. Entered at the same class level and distance of his last win, which is a big plus for this gelding. Took a class drop last time out at Penn National. Zalalas keeps him at the same level in this field. I think that's a good move. I SEE THE STARS - I like this mount. Should be familiar with this level since he ran against the same type in the last race at Penn National. Have to give this gelding a chance. Ran a sharp effort last time out within the last month. The last speed rating of 74 is the best last race speed rating in the group.

Vulnerable Contenders: #2 SPIN CYCLE (ML=5/2), #4 WONDER IN (ML=7/2), #1 DROSSELMOON (ML=5/1),

SPIN CYCLE - The chalk horse is suspect here with the lack of works. WONDER IN - In the last race this runner finished eighth. Doesn't look promising for his chances in today's event. MY GIRL MELLY - This event sets up for this filly. I call this the 'Lone Stalker' scenario. When the real running starts, she'll be in stalking position. Have to like the way Spieth has raced this filly back into shape off the layoff. Equine is well spotted in this sprint and I think she'll run well today. PRETTY DEVIL - Martinez and Davis perform well when they team up. Not easy to best a win pct of 33. Ran in the last race against a better group of horses at Gulfstream Park. The move to a lower class level should suit her well. That 59 fig this mare notched in her last clash tells me she's a big time player today. MAPLELINE - I think this mare is ready to run a good one. She's had enough outings since the vacation and should be fit. With a big class drop in Equibase class figure points from her October 11th race at Horseshoe Indianapolis. Based on that knowledge, I will give this thoroughbred the edge. Burnett Armstrong moves this mare to the dirt today. Look for an improvement from the most recent race on the turf.

CARINA'S WAY - Last ran on October 4th at Presque Isle Downs, finishing third. Not likely to advance off of that performance in today's race. DANCE FOR BOURBON - The Brain cautions me to stay away from ponies in short distance events that haven't hit the board in sprint contests recently. This filly didn't do too much last time.

3rd race – (1) Super Wonder Girl (B) staged a nice rally to win her last and can make it two in a row here. (5) Sister Annie looks like the one to catch in this field.
