It’s been an incredible ride for the Phillies, as they are playing with so much emotion. Philly was a below .500 road team in the regular season and will be facing one of the best pitchers to ever step on the mound in Justin Verlander. Verlander is 39 years old, but his pitchers are getting better, which is hard to believe. Aaron Nola had a bad outing in his last start but has been a good pitcher this year. I will go with the team that has yet to lose in the postseason, lost only 26 games at home all year, and starts one of the best pitchers who has been in this playoff spot multiple times. The experience of Verlander and the home-field advantage will be challenging for Philly to beat. Take the Astros runline -1.5 runs +135.
