SWEET HONOR - Hasn't finished in the money in any sprint contests of late. Not likely to see her doing it this time either. DIXIE RED - Not easy to play any thoroughbred in a short distance race at 9/2 when she hasn't shown any positive results in sprints in the last couple of months. Generally, I don't play a thoroughbred off workouts alone, but when I see a colt work at the same distance or longer than a race he's entered in, I become interested. Going on Lasix for the first time. While a familiar handicapping angle, it's still quite important when deciding on your contenders.

FIND NEW ROADS - In any contest of 5 1/2 furlongs, I like to bet on a contender that has been sharp in sprint contests recently. MESSAGE DISCIPLINE - In this circumstance, this runner's inability to make up any ground in the last race is definitely troubling. MIDNIGHT MONEY - Lackluster win percentage (4) with first-time-starters for this sire, Midnight Storm.

SQUARE FOOTAGE - With Lopez uptop her, this filly will almost certainly be able to break out early for this event. Trainers don't bring horses back this soon without any reason. SWEET LADY LANA - Should be given consideration in this event if only for the very strong speed fig earned in the last contest. Handler boasts strong win numbers at this distance and surface.

SUPERBLEA - I really like that most recent outing on November 8th at Zia Park where she ran second. This rider/handler duo has been producing a very favorable ROI, right at +227. In the last race, ran the last quarter in less than 25 ticks. What that tells me is she can close well, and should be right there at the finish line this time. PEGGY B FAST - I like this mare. Has the highest earnings per start (EPS) in here. She must like the track here. Shipped in to finish first on Oct 10th and she looks tough once again. This thoroughbred has increased her speed ratings from a fig of 34 to 69 to 73 in succession. DANSMETOTHENDOFLOV - This horse's last race was out at Remington Park in a race with a class figure of 87. Dropping a significant amount in class figure today puts her in a solid position in this race. SATURNCLOUD - Taking a big drop in class figure points from her October 23rd race at Los Alamitos (Quarter Hor. Based on that info, I will give this thoroughbred the edge. Last two Equibase speed figures (77, 77) were solid. Anything close to that right here in this race and this one may win easily. You'll be generating profits right and left by turning your cash onto this rider/handler combination. I just may give this one a good shot. Should improve off last race where she did run out of the money, but was within five lengths at the finish.

SHAME ON BEA - Can't bet on this racer in today's sprint of 5 1/2 furlongs. Hasn't even finished in the money in a short distance race recently. I normally try to beat this kind of chalk. Long layoff and no drop in level of competition.
