LA Clippers @ Charlotte (7:10 PM EST) Play On: LA Clippers -3 1/2
The Los Angeles Clippers travel to Charlotte to take on the Hornets on Monday night. The LA Clippers are 13-11 SU overall this year while Charlotte comes in with a 7-16 SU overall record on the season. The LA Clippers are 15-5 SU and 14-5 ATS last 3 years against Southeast Division opponents. The Clippers are 9-2 ATS last 11 games against a team with a winning percentage less than .400. Charlotte is 2-6 ATS last 8 games against a team with a winning record. The Clippers are 6-1 ATS last 7 meetings in Charlotte. The Clippers are 13-4 ATS last 17 games when playing in Charlotte. The Clippers are 4-0 SU and ATS overall vs Charlotte the past 3 years. We'll recommend a small play on the LA Clippers tonight! Thanks and good luck, Rocky
I'll take my chances with the Heat as a 1-point road dog against the Grizzlies on Monday. Miami is as healthy as they have been in quite some time. They just back their best player in Jimmy Butler. Guys like Duncan Robinson, Tyler Herro, Haywood Highsmith and Max Strus are all listed as probable, despite showing up on the depth chart as day-to-day. Gabe Vincent and Dewayne Deadman are also questionable to play. Heat have won 4 of their last 5, including an OT win on the road against the Celtics last time out. The other big thing in handicapping this matchup is rest. Miami has a clear advantage in that department having not played since Friday. Memphis will not only be on no rest after a game in Detroit on Sunday, but they will be playing their 3rd game in 4 nights. Give me the Heat +1!
Heat are 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall, and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record. Grizzlies are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a losing straight up record. Monday 5* FREE NBA Play on Heat +1
Monday NFL Free play. My selection is on New Orleans plus the points over Tampa Bay at 8:15 pm et on Monday.
Off a shutout loss in San Francisco last week and revenge-minded after dropping a 20-10 decision at home against the Buccaneers back in Week 2, I'll grab the points with the Saints on Monday Night Football. Here, we'll note that New Orleans is 40-23 ATS the last 63 times it has gone on the road seeking revenge for a loss against an opponent, outscoring foes by an average margin of 0.8 points in that situation. Better still, the Saints are 17-5 ATS the last 22 times they've played on the road in a revenge spot having scored 14 points or fewer in that previous matchup. The Buccaneers have topped out at 22 points over their last seven games and just lost key offensive lineman Tristan Wirfs to an ankle injury last week, making it less than appealing to be laying points with them at this stage of the season. While I'd like to see the Saints give QB Jameis Winston another chance under center, that won't happen from the get-go tonight. If Andy Dalton struggles early, Winston could see some action, in which case I like this play even more. Take New Orleans.
