Both the Milwaukee Bucks and Memphis Grizzlies are really clamping down defensively of late. I expect that to continue with both teams missing one of their top scorers in Jrue Holiday (19.1 PPG) for the Bucks and Desmond Bane (24.7 PPG) for the Grizzlies.
The Grizzlies have been so good defensively due to the return of Jaren Jackson Jr. They have allowed 112 or fewer points in seven consecutive games, including 103 or fewer in four straight. The Bucks have allowed 113 or fewer points in six consecutive games. One or both of these teams is going to have to top 113 points to beat us, and I don't see it happening.
The UNDER is 7-0 in Bucks seven road games with a total of 220 to 229.5 this season. The UNDER is 15-4 in Grizzlies last 19 home games following three or more consecutive wins. The UNDER is 16-5 in Bucks last 21 road games. The UNDER is 9-1 in Bucks last 10 games following an ATS win. Bet the UNDER in this game Thursday.

I'll take my chances with the Grizzlies as a 2-point home favorite against the Bucks. This to me is a great spot to fade Milwaukee. The Bucks are getting all kinds of love after Tuesday's 128-111 win at home over the Warriors on TNT. This is a team that has been on the road a lot. Bucks haven't played a game in the same city since finishing up a 4-game homestand on Nov. 27th.
I think it will be tough for the Bucks to match the intensity of the Grizzlies. Memphis has quietly been on an absolute tear of late. Grizzlies are riding a 6-game win streak and have gone 8-1 SU in their last 9 games. They have gone an identical 8-1 ATS during this stretch.
Grizzlies should be the fresher team in this game. Memphis has had two days off since playing at home against the Hawks on Monday. They also had two days off leading up to that game. They have played 1 game in 5 days. This will be the Bucks' 3rd game in 5 days.
Memphis is also 12-2 SU and 11-3 ATS at home this year. Milwaukee is 7-4 SU on the road, but are just 4-5-2 ATS. Grizzlies are 20-8 ATS over the last 2 seasons at home when facing a team with a winning record. Give me the Grizzlies -2!
