This looks like a great spot to back the Washington Wizards. They are as rested as they have been all season playing just their 2nd game in 6 days. They needed this rest after playing 10 of their last 12 games on the road. They pulled off upset wins over the Suns and 76ers in their two home games during this stretch.
Now they face a struggling, short-handed New Orleans Pelicans team that is getting too much respect from oddsmakers given their current state. The Pelicans are 1-4 SU & 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall with their lone victory coming against the lowly Houston Rockets.
They lost by 15 at Memphis, by 9 at Philadelphia, by 6 at home to Brooklyn and by 10 at Dallas. The Pelicans will be playing their 7th game in 13 days tonight. They will be without their two best players in Zion Williamson (26.0 PPG, 7.0 RPG, 4.6 APG) and Brandon Ingram (20.8 PPG, 5.1 RPG, 4.7 APG) as well.

The Senators got schooled by the Kraken on Saturday, dropping an ugly 8-4 decision on home ice. Here, I look for them to bounce back as they host the Predators, who roll into this matchup riding a three-game winning streak. Keep in mind, the Preds are still just 10-11 on the road this season, where they've been outscored by 0.2 goals on average. The Sens meanwhile, have gone 11-10 on home ice, outscoring opponents by an average margin of 0.3 goals. While they did get blown out on Saturday, the Sens have still dropped just two of their last six contests overall. Take Ottawa.
