Turfway Park - Race #3

#9 Aquacat	Think he has some mid-range price appeal in here while making his second start over the local footing, and I think he might be well served by trying to relax off the pace just a bit this time around.
#5 Vail of Honor	I don't think he's out of the question despite this being his 11th career try, as he's a fairly honest finisher who has been a good fit with this kind in the past, and he's finding a spot with a handful of runners who figure to be stopping late. Wouldn't shock.
#3 Under the Gun	He makes some sense here as a forward player while dropping in for a tag for the first time, but the barn has been cold locally so far this season and has hit the board with just one of nine route maiden claimers like this the last couple years.
Race Summary	Aquacat ran a decent race at 53/1 when facing special weight company in his first local start, and I can easily see him getting a good first-over trip here.

Turfway Park - Race #5

#2 Bolts Babe	She might be a good fit here while trying the locals for the first time, and she at least showed some ability to pass horses in the two-back stakes try. Interesting today with Lasix.
#11 Miss Peabody	She has been knocking on the door in all four starts and has put herself in good spots turning for home in every start, but she needs a perfectly timed move after hitting the top and failing to stay in her last two.
#8 Kate's Concerto	The barn does good work with these types, and she might prove competitive with the locals after failing to stay with better at Fair Grounds last out. That said, she's probably a bit overbet.
Race Summary	Bolts Babe seems like she might just be coming out of some better races than most of these, and I'm hoping she can settle into a decent kind of spying trip to get the edge over some logical players like Miss Peabody and Kate's Concerto.

Turfway Park - Race #7

#12 Seize the Marquet	She was impressive from off the pace when dropping in for $30,000 at second asking, and she now steps up while going first off the claim for the new owner/trainer Vickie Oliver. Think she still has some upside with just two starts under her belt, and she obviously handles the local footing just fine. I'm interested.
#6 Her World	She's still eligible for this spot despite being a stakes winner after landing the Tyro against the boys on the Monmouth right out of the box back in 2021. She put together a couple more nice races in her short 3-year-old campaign and looks formidable here if she brings her best. Still, I'm not thrilled about landing here at a potentially short price on a filly who has obviously had her issues. Your call.
#13 Laugh and Play	She's a decent fit with these if she draws in from the also-eligibles, and she should be able to get a decent run of the race with this draw. Bit worried that she's shown a willingness to give away ground late.
Race Summary	Seize the Marquet is going to get a class test here after handling maiden claiming company last time out, and I wouldn't be shocked to see her prove competitive with winners if she has another step forward in her in this third start.

#1 LUNA TUNA (9-2)	Been coming up short in the stretch, gets class relief and new pilot.
Race Summary	OMO TEN GIRL chased a 3-1 first-time starter at 7F and tired, but that winner, Charlie’s Wish, ran second in the Florida Juvenile Fillies Stake next out. She broke outward and tired badly on the turn in a follow-up try at 6F, but still deserves a second look adding Lasix for the first time. Bet to win and place.

Gulfstream Park - Race #6

#2 CAJUN BAYOU (4-1)	Herded in early stretch, just missed in blanket finish, enters new barn.
#5 NEVER SATISFIED (7-5)	Takes the plunge after 0-for-16 season, will be an underlay.
#3 EL GUAPO (15-1)	Can use his speed well in this spot, use underneath in gimmick wagers.
Race Summary	CAJUN BAYOU rallied under a hard drive on the turn, altered course in early stretch and had every chance to go by the winner but couldn’t. He could return a quick claim dividend with an extra half-furlong to cover. Bet to win and place.

Gulfstream Park - Race #9

#1 SOLOMON’S GOLD (8-1)	Nearly sprung shocker at this level, gets in light, price attached.
#5 AVATAL HERO (3-1)	Starts fresh off D’Angelo claim, gets Lasix, gets Jose Ortiz to ride.
#2 MIDNIGHT GETAWAY (9-2)	DQ’d from win two back, good follow-up on class hike, gets Lasix.
Race Summary	SOLOMON’S GOLD, outrun on the turf last out, ran well enough in his prior two starts to contend at a good price. He bid 4-wide to a stretch lead at this level and finished second at 6F, then chased the even-money winner in the 5-path before he bumped with a rival at the top of the stretch and leveled off for $50,000. 2nd race – (6) Omo Ten Girl drops into a claimer and should prove best in this field. (3) Riverview Stevie is another firster who could be a factor here. (4) Girvin Girl gets Jose Ortiz for her debut and deserves attention. (1) Luna Tuna could be a threat from the rail. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-6. Exactas: 3-6 over 1-4 and 1-4 over 3-6.
4th race – (5) Love Is Awesome should be well-suited by a return to a sprint and pull out a win. (8) Jellybean drops to a level where she could be competitive. (6) Girl Bye has some speed and could hang around to the finish. (1) Feisty Sara will be helped by a rail trip here. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-5-6-8. 5th race – (7) Listentothemusic was a good second last time and may not look back today. (6) Certain turned in an improved effort on turf and should move forward with Lasix. 7th race – (4) Signal From Noise was an easy maiden winner in her second start and should be able to handle winners.
