3rd race – (1) Mama Maria (C) dropped from 3-5 to 1-5 and finished second for the second time in a row. Seems ready to graduate here. (2) West Bank should be a contender in her career debut. (6) Free to Roam figures to be a factor in this field. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-6.
5th race – (5) News Break turned in a good effort after a year on the sideline and can take a step forward here. (4) Charles Chrome should turn in a better effort back on turf. 8th race – (9) Train to Artemus has enough speed to lead throughout in this spot. (7) Gogo Shoes has a nice turn of late speed and looms as the main threat. (8) Constitution Gal should perk up back on turf. (1) Makin My Move gets a rail trip and can last for a share. Betting strategy: 9 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-7-8-9. Doubles: 1-7-8-9 with 2-3-8-9.
9th race – (9) She’s So Pretty (C) was bet down from 7-5 to even money and drew away for a victory. Is in great form and can make it zaatwo wins in a row here. (2) Short Circuit had a bumpy trip last time and should respond to a class drop. (3) Rubysa will be dangerous if he can duplicate her last try. (8) Khosea was third in her last three tries on Tapeta and cannot be ignored. Betting strategy: 9 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-8-9.

Turfway Park - Race #5

#7 Wild Acclaim	She hustled and showed some sharp pace from a high draw in her career debut, and she might still offer a playable mid-range price in a spot with some bigger name barns lined up.
#8 Who Runs the World	Guessing the tote will tell much of the tale ahead of this race for this first-timer, and she brings a pretty consistent worktab ahead of this unveiling. Likely player.
#11 Pigalle	She'll go first out with a decent wide draw to avoid early trouble, and she might be the most interesting price of the seemingly logical debuters signed on. Take a look on the track.
Race Summary	Lobo, Ward, Cox and more send out debuters in here, and I'm hoping that will let Wild Acclaim just sneak by a bit on the board. Her debut was sharp when hustled from out wide, and I assume she'll get herself in the mix again here. Dangerous with any kind of upside.

Turfway Park - Race #7

#11 Story Hour	Think she has a bit of price appeal here with enough tactical pace to find a decent spot from this wide draw, and I like that she proved she could handle the local footing in that last one. Something similar fits at a decent price.
#4 Ravella	She moved forward in a big way at second asking when trying the locals, and she has enough speed to get in the mix again early on with these. Could see her sneaking away into the far turn.
#8 Sake	Reliable type turned in a good effort in her local debut, and she might have a touch more sneaky tactical pace than it looks at first glance. Capable.
Race Summary	Story Hour should offer an okay price in here while stretching out, and her first local try was sharp enough to think she might trip out in here around two bends.

Turfway Park - Race #8

#1 Queen Tapiture	Turnback player should appreciate getting back in for a tag after trailing near the back on the hike last time out, as she was a good fit with similar two starts back and might get a really cozy trip from the inside.
#6 Reina Bella	She might have her work cut out for her while turning back around one bend, but I always like a class hike off the claim, and she might come alive late for a piece of this.
#4 Yoga	The works have been pretty snappy heading into a race at this level, but she's still obviously running here without a ton of high hopes for this team while on sale at first asking.
Race Summary	Queen Tapiture and Reina Bella were tough to split for me in here, but the former might get the right kind of trip while turning back on the class drop today.

#6 CHRISTENSEN (15-1)	Fits on best with second-time Lasix, too good to pass up in speed-laden field.
#1 SMART COVERAGE (8-1)	Joseph taking his time with Woodbine graduate, good price here, too.
#7 EXTENDO (2-1)	Romped in debut, gave way in follow-up, presumably wore blinkers for bullet work.
Race Summary	Something has to give in this starter allowance and it probably will be the pace. That being said, Christensen is a prime stalk-and-pounce longshot with second-time Lasix for connections who show a positive return on investment from their last 57 starters. Bet to win and place and play a 1-6-7 exacta box.

Gulfstream Park - Race #6

Is a definite contender - given the 52 speed figure from his most recent race. TIME TO MOVE - The average class figure alone makes this entrant a solid choice.

DISTORTED VIEW - Looks like the lone speed of the race. Should be tough on the front-end. Ran last time out against much better horses at Parx Racing. The move down the ladder based on class should suit her well. You should ignore that last affair at Parx Racing on a sloppy track where she finished out of the money. Should do well right here in this race on a non-sloppy track. ANNA ROCKS - Entered a $25,000 Optional Claiming race at Penn National last time out and raced in the slop finishing fifth. I'd expect a better race today. Taking a trip to a lower class level; has the ability to make her presence felt. This horse has increased her speed ratings in each of the last two races. That kind of progress is worth taking notice of. The latest speed fig of 83 is the best last race speed rating in the field. DATE NIGHT KISSES - Have to give this filly a chance. Ran a sharp outing last time out within the last month or so.

I CROSS MY HEART - This filly recorded a rating in her last affair which likely isn't good enough today. KINGDOM QUEEN - No early speed in this bunch to help set-up her late kick. Finished third in her most recent race with a most unsatisfactory speed rating. When I look at today's Equibase class figure, it would take an improved performance to triumph after that in this field. TITANIC ROSE - Difficult to keep stabbing at this kind of 'bridesmaid' horse. This filly probably needs a more conducive pace situation to make her late rush. When examining today's Equibase class figure, she will have to register a much better speed fig than in the last race to compete in this dirt route.
