This is a free play on TTU.
The Red Raiders are still winless in the BIG12, and they are coming off a double digit loss at Kansas State. As bad as that sounds, lets dig a little deeper. They actually opened up an early lead in Manhattan, and held it until halfway through the second half. The final score was a little misleading in their last game. Have a look at their schedule and we can see a two-point loss at Texas, and a three-point home loss to Kansas. A home game against a 1-7 West Virginia team that is far better at home than they are on the road appears to be a good spot for the Red Raiders to get their first conference win. The Mountaineers are 2-7 ATS in their last nine games overall, and they are 1-5 ATS in their last six games following a loss.

South Florida is an underrated point spread team covering 69 percent of its last 16 games. But my main handicapping factor is fading Temple off its shocking and great victory over then top-ranked Houston this past Sunday. The Owls were 20-point road underdogs to the Cougars.
Temple averages 68.6 points, which ranks 258th. The Owls are among the 40-worst Division I teams in field goal percentage and 3-point shooting percentage. So it's asking a lot for them to cover a mid-size number in an obvious letdown spot and given their offensive shortcomings.
South Florida has proven profitable on the road going 36-17-1 (68 percent) ATS during its last 54 away games.
This has been an underdog series lately with the 'dog covering four of the last five times.

This is a play on the TEXAS TECH RED RAIDERS for our Wednesday Free Play. It has been a disappointing start in the Big 12 for Texas Tech as it is now 0-7 after a 10-2 start in nonconference action. The Red Raiders opened with three straight losses that were decided in the final minute including games against TCU and Kansas and more recently, they lost by two points at Texas so they have been close. They are 8-3 at home after opening 8-0 and the three Big 12 losses were by a combined 15 points, two against Baylor and Kansas and the other against Oklahoma in overtime. Time to get into the win column. West Virginia has not been much better as following a home loss to Texas on Saturday, it fell to 1-6 in the conference after an identical 10-2 nonconference start like Texas Tech. The one victory was a very good one against TCU at home and the Mountaineers hit the road where they are 1-4 with the lone win coming at Pittsburgh in the second game of the season. The typical Bob Huggins defense has not been on display this season as West Virginia is No. 226 in opponents field goal percentage and No. 176 in points allowed and faces a pretty potent offense tonight against a very desperate team. The Houston Rockets are rested and ready to go tonight playing just their 3rd game in 7 days. They are coming off a 119-114 upset home win over the Minnesota Timberwolves as 5.5-point dogs, and I expect them to upset the Washington Wizards tonight.
I cashed in the Wizards +7.5 last night in a 127-126 upset win at Dallas. But now I'm fading them tonight playing the 2nd of a back-to-back and in a letdown spot following that big road victory. Five players played at least 30 minutes for the Wizards last night in the win, and they won't have a lot left in the tank for the Rockets tonight.
Washington is 8-20-1 ATS in its last 29 games vs. a team with a winning % below .400. Houston is 5-0 ATS in its last five home meetings with the Wizards. Bet the Rockets Wednesday.

PLAY ON MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES +3: Even though the Pelicans have lost 5 straight and continue to play without both Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram, the betting public is going to be more inclined to back them as a small home favorite than grab a short number on the road with the Timberwolves.
It feels to me that the books are really begging for you to play New Orleans. I can see why. This is not a good spot for Pelicans at all. NO will be in the 2nd of a back-to-back after a gut-wrenching 98-99 loss at home to the Nuggets last night. Pelicans put together a huge 2nd half rally after trailing by double-digits at the half only to come up short. Those are the kind of losses that are really tough to bounce back from, especially on no rest.
As for the Timberwolves, this is a team that has completely fallen out of favor after opening the year as a team a lot of people like to contend in the west. Key here, Minnesota has been playing better of late. They are 8-5 SU over their last 13 games with 3 of the 4 losses coming by 5 or fewer points. Timberwolves have also gone 4-1 SU and 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games listed as an underdog. Give me Minnesota +3!
