Wednesday's Free NCAAB Pick is on the Minnesota Golden Gophers as a massive 10-point home underdog against the Indiana Hoosiers. I know the Gophers aren't any good and easily the worst team in the Big Ten, but no way I'm passing up on the chance to fade Indiana laying double-digits on the road. This has flat spot written all over it for the Hoosiers, who come in off 3 straight double-digit wins, beating Wisconsin by 18 at home, winning by 15 at Illinois and beating Michigan State last time out by 13 at home.
My big concern with Indiana is their lack of production from anyone not named Trayce Jackson-Davis. He's coming off back-to-back 30+ point efforts, scoring 35 vs Illinois and 31 against Michigan State.
One of the big reasons I like the Gophers in this spot, is I think they can make it tough on Jackson-Davis inside. Minnesota is 49th in the country in 2P% defense and 104th in block%. Indiana is not a great shooting team on the road, especially in comparison to at home. Hoosiers are just 3-5 SU and 2-5-1 ATS in road games this season. I like the Gophers to give them a scare. Bet Minnesota +10!
