James Madison has been quietly playing their best basketball of the season. They are 6-0 against the spread and 4-2 straight up in their last six games. Their only straight up losses have come at VCU and at Hofstra, with both games going to overtime. In the loss at VCU, James Madison actually outplayed the Rams before faltering late. Meanwhile, Virginia Commonwealth has really struggled away from home against conference teams. They have lost their last three conference road games against the spread, and they are just 1-3 straight up in their last four overall games away from home. James Madison is in an excellent position to upset another conference opponent at home. Look for them to win this game outright.

Analysis: The Charlotte Bobcats find themselves as road favorites for the first time this season, and I'm not exactly sure why. Granted, the Sacramento Kings have a worse overall record than Charlotte, but they still have more wins (8-6) in the current home-road situation. The Bobcats are 14-12 ATS away from home this season, which does not correspond well to their 6-20 SU mark on the road in this particular scenario as a favorite. Maybe the public remembers that Charlotte beat the Lakers in LA about a month ago, but other than that, I really can't figure out why the Bobcats should be favored in this spot. They have lost their last seven road games while the home team is a perfect 8-0 ATS in the last eight meetings with the Kings. I followed Sacramento very closely on Monday in cashing the OVER during a 112-105 loss to New Orleans, and it was close until the final minutes. In fact, new addition Andres Nocioni played much better in his second game with the team, and I believe he could be the difference here. Bet the Kings as my Triple Dime NBA Underdog Game O' the Month.
