I think GOTTEMINABIND is a decent choice. Will more than likely be one of the early speedsters of the bunch going into the midpoint of the contest. MORO DANDY - Her earnings per start in dirt sprint races alone makes you take a look at her. Sharp gains over time for this rider and trainer duo. CALIFORNIA CALI - Will probably go to the front end and could never look back. She has competitive class ratings, averaging 59, and has to be given a chance in this race.

FULL DINNER JACKET - This gelding is in fine physical condition. Finished second on Feb 3rd. That last race at 7 furlongs was too short. He'll love the added distance today. EYES ON RED - Pivaral was aboard this horse in the last race and was impressed enough to take the horse right back. This one could be a possible overlay in this event at morning line odds of 10/1. Finished fifth in last race at Sam Houston but was close at the wire.

DEANOS CAPE - Hasn't raced or had any drills since January 8th. Not much value on this favorite. FRA MAURO - You always figure that this animal has a shot to be victorious, but he falls short most of the time. This questionable contender ran a common speed figure in the last race. He shouldn't show signs of improvement and will likely lose in today's race running that number. D TOWN BABY - Speed ratings of 82/70/62 are started the wrong way.

SWEETONTHEGENTS - This horse absolutely loves this surface. All her wins have been here at Charles Town. Walters brings her right back. I advocate you stick with this strong mare. This mare has been claimed each of her last two starts. She figures to be tough in today's contest. Have to believe this speed horse has a nice chance on this bullring. A quick move out of the gate, and this one gets position. JUSTKISSMYGRITS - This jock and conditioner have a positive return on investment when they combine forces. Mare has shown some pace. This shorter trip should be better for her. MS HEADLEY - Aboard this entrant on January 18th and Baez is yet again in the irons this time. The ROI when Baez and Pickett get together is fantastic. Ran in the last race against a better group of horses at Charles Town. The move down the class ladder should suit her well. This mare's last speed fig is good enough to prove victorious here, I'll invest in her back again this time. Any early pace setter that is starting from the inside has a shot on this track. Should jump out of the gate and get good position versus this field. SCARLET TANAGER - This mare is in a good spot here. Is at the same distance she won at on November 23rd. Sub-par effort last race out at Charles Town was due to the off-going (she finished fourth). Should do much better in this race with the benefit of a fast track.

Vulnerable Contenders: #2 TRUE HEIRESS (ML=5/1), #3 SALSA RITA (ML=6/1), #8 CHEESE LOUISE (ML=6/1),

TRUE HEIRESS - Difficult to keep following this kind of 'hanger' horse. This mare garnered a speed fig in her last event which probably isn't good enough in today's race. SALSA RITA - You believe this horse is going to be first just because she's always close. Just doesn't get the job done often. The third place finish in the last affair was not the best. CHEESE LOUISE - The Brain tells me to keep my distance from horses in sprint races that haven't finished in the money in short distance contests of late.
