I like the over (7) goals in this one, as both of these teams are elite on the offensive end of the ice, but they have really struggled on the defensive end of the ice. Buffalo is scoring the third most goals per game, but they are allowing the 25th most. That trend will continue and the Panthers will find different ways to find the back of the net. The Panthers are allowing the 24th most goals per game, though. The Sabres will also be able to consistently cash in, as I see both of these teams scoring throughout. The Panthers are also taking the most shots per game and scoring the sixth most goals. Both offenses will be the story in this one and the total will fly over the number. Pick the over (7) goals and expect an entertaining game.

I like Southern Miss (-4) on the road, as they are the better team on both ends of the floor and I don’t see Texas State scoring enough points to cover this spread. According to KenPom, the Golden Eagles have the 83rd lowest adjusted defensive efficiency rating and they are holding their opponents to the 52nd least amount of points per game.

Southern Miss is also (8-2) in their last 10 games and (7-3) ATS in that stretch. They will show up on the road and dominate in this game. Texas State has continued to slide in the wrong direction, as they are only (1-9) ATS in their last 10 home games. They will struggle in this one and the Golden Eagles will pull away. Pick Southern Miss and lay the points (-4) on the road.
