My pick in here is AMERICAN GRIT. He has been travelling soundly lately while recording very solid Equibase Speed Figures. Looks respectable to be close to the lead at the first call. Is a solid contender - given the 72 Equibase Speed Figure from his most recent race. SARGE'S SERMON - Has run quite well when running a dirt route race. Recently Hernandez has been on fire which may give the edge to this gelding. AGADOR SPARTACUS - Have to consider solely on class, with some of the best class figs of this group. Had one of the top speed figures of this group of horses in his last competition.

Could best this group of horses based on the speed figure - 69 - of his last effort. EAGLE OAK - Shows signs of the look of a money-making play, averaging a solid 60 Equibase speed fig which is one of the best in this group of horses in this race. He has a good opportunity in this race as conditioner, Aguilar, has strong win rate with horses going this distance. RAGS TO RICHEZ - Hernandez and Hernandez are a potent pair for profits. Recorded a solid speed rating in the most recent race. Can run another good one in this race.

I advise you stick with this live gelding. LIGHT WORK - Lots of positive 'vibes' attached to this horse and his brain trust.

ADARA - Would have to advance off that fifth place finish last time to make an impact here. Hard to recommend this one out of the one post. Hasn't run well out of there. WICKOSITY - In the last race this racer finished fifth. Doesn't bode well for his chances this time. This colt is always hitting the board, but just doesn't win. Hard to wager on him on the top end. Quite unimpressive fig last time out at Charles Town at 7 furlongs. Don't believe this runner will improve too much in today's event.
