This is a play on the ARIZONA WILDCATS for our Thursday Free Play. Arizona is coming off a brutal loss at home against Arizona St. on a last second half-court shot which was its second home loss of the season and that eliminated the Wildcats from winning the regular season Pac 12 Championship as they are 13-5 which tied with USC for second place in the conference. Arizona closes the regular season with a pair of tough games starting with USC which it rolled in January at home by 15 points. The Wildcats are 5-3 on the road and this weekend basically comes down to the No. 2 or No. 3 spot in the conference tournament which are interchangeable. USC has won four straight games to also move to 13-5 in the conference and it returns home following a road sweep last week at Colorado and Utah. The Trojans close out their home schedule with this game and Arizona St. as they look to improve upon their 14-1 record at home with the only loss coming against Florida Gulf Coast in the first game of the season so the fact they have won 14 straight games and come in as underdogs is telling.
