    Current NCAA Tournament Record 11-8

    College Basketball NIT
    9:00 PM EST
    Rotation # 615
    Wisconsin +2.5 over Oregon
A complete, healthy Oregon team would dominate Wisconsin, but the Ducks have multiple injuries to key starters and have been playing more role players in the NIT. Wisconsin is playing their starters, and being on the road team helps in NIT settings. When you travel, your mindset is to win. Oregon is playing many younger players and not taking the NIT as seriously as Wisconsin. The Badgers should slow down the pace and take advantage of a Ducks team missing 60 percent of their starting five. Look for the Badgers to keep the game boring and low scoring. Take Wisconsin.

      Selection: Celtics/Kings Under (238.5)
      Rating: 5%

The Celtics are coming off an outright loss to the Jazz on Saturday. They are the more rested teams since the Kings played last night in an outright loss to the Jazz in Utah. Kings also have a key matchup on deck with the Suns.

Celtics won and covered the first matchup 122-104, which went well below the 238.5 total.

From and trend perspective, the Celtics are 8-1-1 to the under as road faves with a winning record average combined score of 214.9. They are also 3-1 to the under as road faves following a loss as a fave. The one game went over due to OT, and still only went over by just three points. In those games, they averaged a combined score of 215.

The Kings are 2-0 to the under on the 2nd leg of back-to-back road-to-home games, averaging a combined 224 per game. Kings as dogs following a loss totaling 235 or greater, 4-1 to the under. The one game that went over went over due to OT.

From a league-wide perspective…since the 2018-2019 season, when a team is playing on the last leg of a five-game road trip or more, is rested versus a non-conference opponent where the total is 236 or greater…those situations have gone 11-0-1 to the under, including 6-0 this year alone.

5% NHL BIG BET SIDE PLAY
Game: (17) Arizona Coyotes at (18) Winnipeg Jets
            Date/Time: Mar 21 2023 8:07 PM EDT
            Betting Line Provider: Consensus Line
            Play Rating: 5%
            Play: Winnipeg Jets -1.5 (-105)

Usually, I am a ride-the-hot and fade-the-cold type of guy, but in this situation, I'm backing the Winnipeg Jets to get back on track against a Coyotes team that struggles on the road.

The Coyotes have won four straight, with the Jets losing three of their last four – Having said that, this is a Coyotes team that the Jets match up very well against and should be able to get back on track against Tuesday night. I always say the better team dictates the pace, and the Jets are known for their top-notch defence, which will be on full display when they match up line for line with a very inexperienced Coyotes team that lacks chemistry.

The strength of schedule, or lack thereof, is a significant factor in the results for these clubs recently. The Coyotes might have pulled off some upsets recently, but they certainly haven't been up against the top-notch competition. The Yotes have faced off against the Blackhawks, Canucks, Flames and a Wild team without one of their best players; meanwhile, the Jets have faced off against teams like the Bruins, Hurricanes, Lightning, Panthers, and the Predators, all teams that are incredibly tough to play against, especially when you're playing them all next to each other in the schedule. So why am I talking about this? Sometimes teams like the Jets have 'flat spots' against a bottom team like the Coyotes. Still, due to the demanding schedule they've been going through and the lack of success they've had recently, I believe the Jets will be more motivated than ever to get back on track against a team that can't match up with them and does not have the depth that the Jets have.

Defence and goaltending has been the backbone for the Jets this season and will be much tougher than what Arizona has faced lately; The Jets rank 11th in goals against per game and 11th in shots against per game. Connor Hellebuyck has a record of 30-22-2 with a 2.62 GAA and a .917 SV%. David Rittich has a record of 9-7-1 with a 2.65 GAA and .902 SV%.

The Jets are 7-3-0 in the last 10 contests against the Yotes. Arizona has struggled on the road, while Winnipeg has thrived at home. The Coyotes have a 7-21-8 road record, while Winnipeg has a 21-12-2 home record. Arizona ranks 31st in shots on goal allowed per game, which is not a recipe for success against a team like Winnipeg that thrives when they dominate the possession battle.

Take the Jets to win this by at least two goals (-1.5) and cash a ticket fading the Coyotes!
