ANALYSIS: Benfica Lisbon are home in the first leg of this quarterfinal, and manager Roger Schmidt will look to take full advantage of that. While Benfica have only lost a single match in their last 15 games and are in form, Inter are the opposite. Inter are winless in their last five matches and will visit a tremendously difficult place to play in Estadio da Luz. I expect that with Goncalo Ramos and Joao Mario leading the charge, Benfica will take a goal advantage in this first leg and continue to represent the Portuguese Primeira Liga in doing so.

ANALYSIS: I am excited that we have reached the point in the NBA season when games are meaningful again. Karl-Anthony Towns has looked good since returning from an injury that cost him over 50% of the regular season. He has scored at least 20 points in six of eight games since returning to the court and is coming off a 30 point performance where he logged 36 minutes. The Wolves will be without two starters in Rudy Gobert and Jaden McDaniels, in addition to arguably their third best scorer Naz Reid. Minnesota will need all the scoring help they can get from KAT who I expect will be very aggressive in this game.

ANALYSIS: I expect Benfica to come out firing, so even if Inter Milan can’t contribute, I think this one goes Over. The visitors have given up a respectable 33 goals in their 29 Serie A matches, but 25 have come in away games and they have one clean sheet in those 14. Benfica have scored at least three goals in eight of their past 12 home matches, and they conceded at least once in six of those. The home team will be looking to bounce back from a 2-1 loss to rival Porto last Friday and are facing a struggling Inter side. They’ll be out to make a statement at home.

ANALYSIS: There will no doubt be a ton of attacking talent on the pitch, as these are the top two scoring teams in Europe. But they also are two of the better defenses in the world, with both allowing right around one goal per match. Bayern have pitched four straight UCL shutouts – against Inter Milan, Barcelona and PSG (twice). City have allowed three goals over eight Champions League matches. I expect it to start with a long feeling-out process and City to play a more defense-minded match at home. You might want to scale back to a half unit, as the finishers in this match are no joke, but at plus money this is a solid bet. The last meeting was a 1-0 Man City road victory last summer.

ANALYSIS: Inter Milan are struggling mightily heading into Tuesday’s clash with Benfica, winless in their last six games across all competitions. Now, Inter have to travel to a hostile environment for their third consecutive road match. Benfica have won three of their four Champions League home fixtures this season, and they’ve won eight of their last nine games overall, scoring two or more goals on seven occasions during that span. Given the form of these two clubs, I’m backing the home side to pick up the victory on Tuesday.
