We roll with the Bluejays here in a nice spot against the Redsox. Note, that 72% of the public here rides the over on this game, but though we think this game might go under, we think the Bluejays are the right spot here. Remember, the Bluejays are 18-9 and they are facing a Redsox team that is 15-14. Toronto had won 6 in a row coming into this game but just lost their last game to 8-10 to Seattle. What has to be so frustrating was the fact that loss to Seattle came despite outhitting Seattle 14 to 7 in that game. It is tough to swallow outhitting a team 2:1 and still losing by 2 runs. Note, Toronto has not lost back to back games in quite some time as well and Boston won 8-7 and 7-1 against Cleveland the last two games and we fully do not trust Boston to win 3 in a row here. Note, that Berrios has a 4.71 era, and he coems off a great ballgame against the Whitesox when he went 7 innings, 4 hits and 0 runs, this was on the heels of 7 innings, 3 hits and 2 runs against Houston and 5 innings, 4 hits and 0 runs against Tampa Bay. The guy has beat Houston, Tampa Bay and the Whietsox recently after two bad original starts he has really turned it on. Kluber finally put together a decent effort in his last game but we expect him to regress to what he has all year and likley struggle once again. Note, the Bluejays are 6-1 following a loss.
