I'm all over these Marlins in this spot tonight. Other than the Reds, no team is playing more inspired or better baseball than these Marlins. They've 13 of their L/16 games, including 5 straight heading into tonight's game. They blasted these Blue Jays 11-0 last night & Toronto is not in good form right now. They've lost 3 straight & 4 of their L/5 games. They've been outscored an alarming 31 to 13 these L/5 games. The Blue Jays give the ball to uber inconsistent Kikuchi tonight. He's been hit hard on the ROAD not only this season, but all of last season, too. Kikuchi's 8 ROAD starts this season: 4.87 .ERA with a terrible 1.43 WHIP. He's allowed an alarming 12 HR's & 47 hits in just 40 2/3 IP, with just a 3/1 K/BB ratio. Current Marlins have a combined .OPS of 1.020 vs Kikuchi with 4 HR's in just 40 AB's. I also love the fact that these white-hot Marlins are in their best & most potent hitting posture tonight, facing left-handed pitching. These Marlins rank 5th in all of MLB in .OPS .793 vs LH pitching. I absolutely expect these Marlins to get to Kikuchi eventually. The Marlins give the ball to VERY talented youngster Eury Perez. The 20-year-old stud has been electric since being called up. He's coming off 6 shutout innings vs Seattle, yielding just 2 hits, zero runs, just 1 walk & 6 K's. Perez over his L/3 starts: 16 IP, 1 run allowed, 11 hits, just 4 walks allowed, and 17 K's. I also really like the fact that no current Blue Jay has even faced Perez, so that's an advantage to Perez and the Marlins the 1st time through the order. This Blue Jays offense ranks just 21st in all of MLB in .OPS the last 14 days & I definitely expect Perez to really limit the struggling Blue Jays offense. I also like that the Marlins bullpen is in very good form right now, too. The Marlins bullpen ranks 4th in both .ERA 2.88 and WHIP 1.20 the last 14 days. On the flip side the Jays bullpen ranks 26th in WHIP 1.53 and 27th in .ERA 5.32 the last 14 days. The bottom line for me here is that I really see massive value on these streaking Marlins in this spot & at this price tonight.

Rotation # 968
Yankees -120 over Mariners
Cole/Kirby
George Kirby is an excellent young pitcher, but Gerrit Cole is a five-time all-star veteran pitcher. The Mariners’ slugging percentage against right-handers is towards the bottom of the league, and they could be a better road team. Take the Yankees.
