BRIDLEUPTOTHEBAR - This gelding is in excellent form right now. Finished second in the last race and comes back rapidly. ZESTFUL - The jock/trainer twosome of Valdes and Evans has a strong return on investment together. I have to like this gelding's chances of winning at the shorter distance. This gelding is in the top spot in (EPS) earnings per start. Check out this horse in the paddock. COASTAL KID - This front-runner is shortening up today. Should promote his winning probability. Metz gets a break on this entrant carrying 6 lbs less than last out. Should be helpful right here in this race. YOU'RE THE CAUSE - I think this gelding is ready to run a good one. He's had enough races around the track since the layoff and should be fit. Have to give this gelding a good shot. Ran a strong effort last time around the track within the last 30 days. SMILING GOODBYE - This rider and trainer have a favorable ROI when they unite. Negron comes to ride after getting to know the gelding in the last race. This thoroughbred coming off a sharp try in the last 30 days is a serious competitor in my book. Handicapping information show this racer with 3 improving speed figs. Negron should be on a live horse in this event.

Hasn't even finished in the money in a sprint clash of late. Should take this one off your contenders list with the lack of speed in that last route event.
