1st race – (8) Net Revolt already owns three wins at Del Mar and comes off a big score at Los Al. Gets the nod here. (4) Big Buzz looms a stretch threat in this field. (1) Tone Feelin should work out a good trip from the rail. (2) Far West is worth a look off the Miyadi claim. Betting strategy: 8 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-4-8. Doubles: 1-2-4-8 with 3-5-6-7.
2nd race – (3) Bye Bye Ray was second in his first two starts and then faded to ninth. Hasn’t raced in five months but seems ready for a strong showing here. (5) Uncle Reg was second last time and should be the main rival. (6) Dr. Venkman is an interesting first-time starter. (7) Dazzlemesilver was third in three of four starts and should be in the picture again. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-5-6-7.
6th race – (4) Liberty Forever is speedy and returns to turf and may not look back in this field. (9) Chasin Munny adds blinkers and is worth a look. (8) Rexford was second last time and belongs in the exotics. (6) Ambivalent should be a factor in the final furlong. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-6-8-9.
8th race – (10) Escape Artist had a nice prep for this in an allowance race and seems primed for a big effort. (1) Classical Cat has the rail and seeks a third straight win but has not raced since December. (9) Conclude has plenty of speed and could be tough to catch here. 9th race – (3) Hard to Figure exits stakes company and should appreciate the class relief here. (1) Del Mar Jerry will appreciate the cutback to a sprint.
