Rotation #224202: Champions League | Playoffs | 1st Leg: Tuesday Free Pick UNDER 2.5 -130 in Rakow Czestochowa vs FC Copenhagen @ 3 ET - Rakow has allowed a total of only 7 goals in their last 12 matches overall. Copenhagen has allowed only 12 goals in last 11 matches. This one has the makings of a 1-0 or 1-1 type match the way I see it. Pretty solid goaltending and both clubs are so hot right now. They are each playing well and in full respect of the other and this one will be a bit tactical. This 1st Leg will likely see a rather conservative gameplan as neither club wants to be the one to make the first mistake and pay for it by being at a deficit. Honestly, this one could stay 0-0 for a long time the way I am forecasting this based on the approach I expect each club to take here. Free Pick UNDER 2.5 -130 in Rakow Czestochowa

Tuesday MLB Free play. My selection is on the 'over' between San Francisco and Philadelphia at 6:40 pm et on Tuesday.

The Phillies mashed the Giants by a 10-4 score last night and I'm anticipating another relatively high-scoring affair between these two teams on Tuesday. San Francisco will give Kyle Harrison his first big league start. The adjustment to the Triple-A level has proven difficult for the left-hander this season as he has posted a 4.66 ERA and 1.52 WHIP in 20 minor league starts spanning 65 2/3 innings. He draws a tough first matchup at this level as the Phillies bats come in hot having produced 41 runs over their last five games. Taijuan Walker will counter for Philadelphia. He figures to give the Giants a chance, noting they already saw him once this season, lighting him up for four earned runs in just 2/3 of an inning back in May. Save for a solid stretch in June, Walker hasn't had a good season, posting a 4.68 FIP and 1.28 WHIP. On the season, the two bullpens have been virtually even but there's no question the Phillies relief corps has pitched better lately. The Giants 'pen is of particular concern right now as it has been extremely overworked, logging a collective 552 1/3 innings on the campaign. Over the last seven games, Giants relievers have combined to record a 6.00 ERA and 1.64 WHIP. Take the over.

                  Dave's Tuesday Free Play:

                  1* on Cubs/Tigers OVER 9

The Key: The Chicago Cubs have scored at least 3 runs in 39 of their last 43 games overall. The Detroit Tigers have scored at least 3 runs in 14 of their last 16 games overall. These teams combined for 13 runs last night and it should be a similar result tonight. Drew Smyly is 7-8 with a 5.25 ERA in 21 starts this year. Smyly is 0-2 with a 9.76 ERA in his last 3 starts, yielding 17 earned runs and 6 HR in 15 2/3 innings. Smyly is 0-2 with a 5.50 ERA in 3 lifetime starts against the Tigers. Reese Olson is 2-5 with a 5.61 ERA in 11 starts this year while yielding 32 earned runs in 51 1/3 innings. Chicago is 10-1 OVER after a game where the bullpen was hit hard for 4 or more earned runs this year. Detroit is 11-2 OVER in its last 13 home games against a starting pitcher that yields one or more HR's per start. Take the OVER.

                      7* MLB Cubs/Tigers Free Pick

                      PLAY ON CHICAGO CUBS -115

I'll take my chances on the Cubs once again as a small road favorite against the Tigers. We played and won on Chicago -118 in yesterday's 7-6 win over Detroit. That's three in a row for Chicago, who are just 2.5-games back of the Brewers for the NL Central lead. The numbers aren't great for Cubs' starter Drew Smyly, but the same can be said for Detroit starter Reese Olson. I just trust this Chicago offense to deliver in this spot and I think Smyly will have one of his better starts against his old team (started career with Detroit). Give me the Cubs -115!

                        Free Play: Cubs/Tigers Under 9 -120

Yesterday's game went over the number with 5 runs coming late in the game. I am going with the UNDER in this game as I think the number is a little high. Outside of yesterday, Detroit struggles to score runs and even though the Cubs are using a bullpen day I don't see Detroit scoring a lot of runs. Olson has struggled but the Cubs won't score enough on their own to put this game over the number.

                        Play on the UNDER

                              Free Play: Aces/Dream Under 167.5 -110

Atlanta could be missing its two top scorers. Allisha Gray is unlikely to play due to an ankle injury and Rhyne Howard is questionable with a knee injury. Those two players each average 17.5 points and provide the Dream with much of their firepower.

Las Vegas leads the WNBA in scoring at 93.1 points. But I don't see the Aces having a big scoring night here. This has the makings of a grind-out, slow-tempo game. The Aces should have their defensive intensity up after losing as a 17-point home favorite to Los Angeles in their last game. Aces coach Becky Hammon wasn't pleased with her team's defense in that game.

The Dream aren't going to want to push pace without their star players. If Howard plays, she could be gimpy. The Aces are dealing with a heavy fatigue factor. This is their sixth game in 11 days and they have three more games in the next six days.

The Aces are showing their weariness by making just 30 percent of their 3-point shots during their last three games. That's the fourth-worst mark in the WNBA during this span.

Las Vegas has mainly used just six players with Candace Parker sidelined. The Aces' sixth player, 36-year-old Alysha Clark, is dealing with a back injury and hasn't been shooting well. Hammon is likely to give her reserves more minutes than usual in this matchup, which has blowout potential.
