Pinnacle on Texas Tech Many times teams play completely opposite from week one to week two. This is that type of game. A huge bounce back game. Texas Tech still finished with 33 in their loss to Wyoming. Texas Tech would be smart to focus on ways to keep up with the Ducks, as opposed to trying to stop them in a low-scoring game. Last week, Tech didn't just lose, they had their heartbroken, as Wyoming had to convert a 4th down, and a two-point conversion to win in double OT. The Oregon game will be personal for Texas Tech QB Tyler Shough, the senior who started his career as an Oregon Duck. Against Wyoming, Shough threw for 338 yards on 31-47 passing with three TDs and one INT. Jerand Bradley is a big target on the outside, the 6'5 wide receiver caught 8 passes for 88 yards and a score. Tech was very pass-heavy in the game, they only rushed for 93 yards, 39 of which came from senior back Tahj Brooks. Wyoming only had 149 passing yards in the game, as Tech's secondary is led by four seniors, three of whom started last season. The best of the bunch is lockdown corner Malik Dunlap. Linebacker Jesiah Pierre was all over the field in the opener recording 14 tackles. Syracuse transfer Steve Linton will make a difference upfront, the 6'5 linebacker had five tackles against Wyoming. This will be a tremendous chance for an upset.
