1. Seattle Seahawks vs New York Giants Over 46 (NFL) 5:15pm PST
2. New York Giants+3 (NFL) 5:15pm PST
Although the Giants have been extremely mediocre to start the year
the Seahawks defence is just horrendous. Expecting the Giants to win a shootout at home.
Bought and sharing Brandon Lang since it was not posted by a member.
The Pick: My 50 Dime winner is the New York Giants. The Line: The current line is +2 in Vegas and offshore as of 11:00 am EST. Be sure to shop around for the best line available.
Note: If your line is anywhere from +2 1/2 to +4, I advise buying the 1/2 point up on the Giants.
Your Analysis
I truly believe the wrong team is favored.
The Seattle Seahawks roll into the Big Apple a 2-1 football team, but a closer look will reveal, they should be 1-2.
After opening the season at home against the Rams and losing 30-13, they went into Detroit and the Lions handed them the game with 3 huge turnovers.
The Seahawks then came home and beat up on a bad Panthers team.
What is lost in the shuffle of their back-to-back wins is the fact the Seattle defense has given up 30, 31, and 27 points this year.
To put it bluntly, they have no defense.
As for the Giants, they are battle-tested having played 3 quality football teams.
They opened against Dallas at home and got beat, then went out to Arizona, a place the Cowboys couldn't win at, and put up a come-from-behind win, 31-28.
Last week on a short week, they lost at San Francisco, 30-12, but trust me folks, the score was closer than that.
It was a 17-12 game with 5 minutes to go in the 3rd before the G-Men ran out of gas.
I don't think Seattle is as good as their 2-1 record would lead you to believe, and I don't think the Giants are as bad as their 1-2 record would lead you to believe.
Lastly, do I trust Geno Smith on the Monday night road or do I trust Daniel Jones at home?
Well, it sure as hell ain't Geno Smith.
A couple of numbers for you. The Giants are 7-1 ATS coming off a loss and 12-2 ATS coming off a Thursday night game.
This small home doggy barks loud and clear in the Big Apple tonight.
