        Parx Racing - Race #4 - Post: 2:01pm - Claiming - 6.5 furlongs on the Dirt. Purse: $21,000 Class Rating: 53

        Rating:

        #7 ANACARAVA (IRE) (ML=4/1)

ANACARAVA (IRE) - Linder gets a break on this mount carrying 5 lbs less than last out. Its possible this could make the difference in this field.

Vulnerable Contenders: #8 TAKE IT TO THE MAX (ML=5/2), #6 INCOMPARABLE (ML=3/1), #3 QUEEN LUCKY (ML=9/2),

TAKE IT TO THE MAX - I find it hard to wager on this mount this time. Make her show you something in a sprint contest before you invest in her in a race of 6 1/2 furlongs. INCOMPARABLE - Last effort was too strong. Not too far of a reach to expect a 'performance bounce' this time around. QUEEN LUCKY - Can't play this less than sharp equine in today's sprint of 6 1/2 furlongs. Hasn't even finished in the money in a sprint event recently. Difficult to take this mount at this price after the finish (sixth) in the last race.

STRAIGHT WAGERS: Bet on #7 ANACARAVA (IRE) to win if you can get at least 1/1 odds

          Race 3 - Claiming - 5.5f on the Dirt. Purse: $11300 Class Rating: 67

FOR THREE YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD WHICH HAVE NEVER WON TWO RACES. THREE YEAR OLDS, 121 LBS.; OLDER, 123 LBS. NON-WINNERS OF A RACE SINCE SEPTEMBER 4 ALLOWED 3 LBS. CLAIMING PRICE $12,500

          RECOMMENDED CHOICES
          # 3 VENEZUELANDREAMERS 6/5
          # 1 ANGUSONIC 6/1
          # 5 RED GUN 4/1
VENEZUELANDREAMERS looks very good to best this field. Is difficult not to consider based on Speed Figures which have been solid - 60 avg - of late. Win percentage one of the most favorable in this group. Could beat this field given the 56 speed figure earned in his last outing. ANGUSONIC - May best this group of horses here, showing respectable figs of late. Could beat this field given the 62 speed figure put up in his last outing. RED GUN - This gelding is coming back almost immediately to the track. Has to be carefully examined against this group displaying strong figs lately and an average speed figure of 61 under similar conditions.

            Race 7 - Maiden - 350y on the Dirt. Purse: $17500 Class Rating: 80

QUARTER HORSE 350Y, FOR ACCREDITED LA BRED MAIDENS, TWO YEARS OLD. WEIGHT, 124 LBS.

            RECOMMENDED CHOICES
            # 8 HOLLYWOOD EAGLE 2/1
            # 4 LE TRAIN 3/1
            # 2 JESS DELUXE 6/1
I give my vote to HOLLYWOOD EAGLE here. Ran a sharp last race. Looks to have a very strong class edge based on the latest company kept. Could provide positive dividends based on strong recent Speed Figures with an average of 69. LE TRAIN - With Garcia uptop him, this gelding will most likely be able to break out quickly here. A solid 75 avg Equibase class rating may give this gelding a distinct class edge versus this field. JESS DELUXE - Could provide positive returns based on competitive recent Speed Figures with an average of 56. Has been moving in the most competitive company of the field recently.

              Remington Park - Race #9 - Post: 10:51pm - Maiden Claiming - 5.0 furlongs on the Dirt. Purse: $11,000 Class Rating: 59

              Rating:

              #3 OKIE CHROME (ML=6/1)
              #1 MO DANDY (ML=9/2)

OKIE CHROME - This jock/trainer duo has been producing a very lucrative ROI, right at +150. This horse's last race was at Remington Park in a race with a class rating of 69. Dropping considerably in class figure this time puts him in a solid position today. I think that a sprinter coming off a layoff will usually run his best in the 3rd or 4th start back. MO DANDY - This should be an easier task than what he was asked last time out against 'open' company. You should throw out that last event at Remington Park on a track listed as good where he finished out of the money. Should do well in this event under normal track conditions.

              Vulnerable Contenders: #10 TAP N PLAY (ML=5/2), #8 STOOPS SINE DIE (ML=4/1), #4 C J'S LEGACY (ML=8/1),

TAP N PLAY - 5/2 is not worth it for any thoroughbred in a sprint of 5 furlongs that hasn't finished in the money in a short distance affair lately. STOOPS SINE DIE - Just can't wager on this less than sharp equine. Didn't show me anything positive in the last race or on Aug 26th. C J'S LEGACY - Not a good 'spot' in this event.

STRAIGHT WAGERS: #3 OKIE CHROME is going to be the play if we are getting 7/5 or better
              EXACTA WAGERS: Box [1,3]

                #8
                Brian W. Spencer's Daily Picks

                Remington Park - Race #2
#1 Space Pirate Hoping the presence of the second choice will help keep the price playable enough here, as this one rises for turf off a modest kind of debut -- but one that I really think he can build on. Might be the right one.
#5 Calming Sea I think she's probably supposed to be tough here after showing some pace with better at Del Mar, and it wouldn't be any surprise for her to land this at what I'm expecting to be way too short of a price.
#4 Gospel Chosen She's in for a tag for the first time while racing off the November '22 layoff, but she conceivably has enough pace to factor early which would at least leave her in the right kind of spot if she handles the new footing. I could see it.
Race Summary Space Pirate only made a modest move in the debut run, but she draws well here to potentially tuck in just behind the sharper pace players listed above.
                Remington Park - Race #8
#5 Sunny San Leon She's an honest finisher with some solid turf form, and she has just enough positional pace to find a good spot settled off the splits today while hopefully not leaving herself too much to do.
#8 Ann Alee She's the dangerous committed pace in here with really good Canterbury form, but I wonder if there is just enough other tactical pace to keep her honest on the engine today. Interesting enough.
#6 Princess Pauline Maybe that break will help her fire fresh off the April layoff, but her rally typically tends to come alive a bit too late in the game for her to score, and I wouldn't be shocked to see her with the underneath runners again.
Race Summary Sunny San Leon figures to find a pretty good spot as they sort themselves out tonight with form that fits well, and she might be a mildly playable price on the board, too.
                Remington Park - Race #9
#9 Ammenthedestroyer Not totally sure how his form is going to stack up in his first local try, but there are a lot of chase-and-fade types lined up today, and the fact that he can sort of plug along at one pace the entire race might be enough to give him a chance.
#1 Mo Dandy He didn't have an easy go when flashing pace in the debut between horses before fading, but that came for four times this price and might have set him up to stick around better with that race under his belt.
#10 Tap N Play He exits the same race as the rail runner in which he also faded late, but it wouldn't be a surprise to see him prompt the issue from a good draw, make the first move, and hold off a bad bunch.
Race Summary Ammenthedestroyer might be a little light on overall form, but they honestly all are in this spot, and I think the race flow on paper at least offers some hope for his plugging style.

                  #9
                  Frank Carulli's Daily Picks

                  Delaware Park - Race #1
#2 NEW JERSEY HEIST (4-1) Good zip in sprint, stretches back out, starts fresh, lures Centeno.
#6 DISCREETLY THRIFTY (10-1) Dull try in first start for high percentage sprint-to-route barn.
#8 LIOTTA (6-1) ‘Gained steadily’ through the stretch to finish second at 6F, sheds 6 pounds.
Race Summary NEW JERSEY HEIST showed improved speed for a higher tag last out, bid 3-wide on the turn but was out-kicked by a pair of wide-rallying types. Expect him to go a lot farther up front in his second go-round at this distance. Bet to win and place.
                  Delaware Park - Race #2
#3 THE GREAT GAZOO (7-2) Can upgrade 1-for-23 record on class drop at most proven distance.
#5 TUNA N STAMPS (8-1) Chased pair of sub 2-to-1 faves in first start locally, use in all gimmicks.
#4 FUN AT THE FORT (4-1) Rallied mildly in lane after bumpy start to earn his top speed figure.
Race Summary THE GREAT GAZOO finished first or second at three tracks in his last four starts at 6F, albeit all on ‘off’ footing. He won off a similar freshening in the spring and runs for the cheapest tag of his career. Bet to win and place and play a 3-4-5 exacta box.
                  Delaware Park - Race #5
#8 SALTO DE TIGRE (4-1) Will be running late to try and overcome bout with seconditis.
#11 FIRST RULE (8-1) In top form, loves Delaware, draws outside at a price
#2 SOVEREIGN OF SPEED (15-1) Awakened for new connections two back, tried turf in follow-up.
Race Summary SALTO DE TIGRE, first or second in 14 of 25 starts on dirt, lands in an ideal spot to cut back in distance. He packs good late kick and gets plenty of pace to rally into on the class drop. Bet to win and place.
